Also, thanks everyone else for the great restaurant suggestions! I'm looking forward to trying out some of the restaurants listed. We may need a new forum "Restaurant Reports".

So, the owners of Michael's Grill in Tampa on N. Dale Mabry used to run a Shell's but their food is so much better. Try it.
As for seafood in Orlando, and normal pricing, I absolutely love Boston's out on the east side. Can check out NaNa and have some awesome seafood on the same trip! That would be a great afternoon in my book.

High Tide Harry's is def the best for a quality seafood meal on a budget. Their crab cakes are surprisingly good. Love their buffalo frog legs!!
I really like the Oceanaire on IDrive. They have some awesome baked alaska for dessert too!!
All this talk is making me hungry. Might have to hit up hit up high tide's for lunch!
Stay safe.

Speaking of great seafood and Tampa, there used to be a place on the Southern end of 22nd Street Causeway that had the best crab rolls. We used to go by on a road trip through that area and pick up a bag of those things and just make ourselves sick as we drove. I think they went away when the causeway.
I do miss Shell's. And I have not found anything out there as good. High Tide Harry's runs a close second but I bet there is better. Any suggestions from anyone about who has fresh sea food?

But, the best crab cakes in Florida are in Tampa at Michael's Grill.

Undoubtedly at Christners (formerly Del Frisco's) on Lee Road. For that matter, their steaks or at least their NY strip steak is the best in town.

Posts: 598There are three seafood restaurant's in Orlando that I tend to favor. Narcoossee's at The Grand Floridian and The Oceanaire Seafood Room on I-Drive.

These 2 are a little pricey but worth it. A more budget friendly option with a mom and pop atmosphere is Julie's Waterfront on Orange Ave.

There seems to be a little rumor that feelingfrogy has started walking again. We haven't seen much from her in the way of ads lately (January / February 2015) but heard that she might be back to strolling. Hard to believe but, hey, hopefully just a temporary situation but then again rates might be lower if so. She always loved car dates. OBT?

It has been almost a yr since I gave up meat but the palms did have a banging steak. Possibly the best I have ever had. They have awesome prime rib and crab cakes too.
Those chessy potatoes are off the hook.
Nothing like a good salad, a quality potatoes, and large side of cottage cheese covered with black pepper with your steak.
On that note I do still eat seafood. Where do you think has the best around? Especially crabcakes.
Xoxo.

Posts: 7357An open letter to Just Jenna AKA Porky
You seem a little quiet these days Porky. Maybe I was too hard on you. Looks like I won by TKO!! LOL!! Now you will say how busy you are and blah blah blah but just know I have zero sympathy for you Porky. The fake reviews, the multiple user handles, the glamour shot photos have all caught up to you. Like my dear friend Savanna told me the other day, YOU Porky are your own worst enemy / Constantly putting people down and putting there neighborhoods down and you non stop shitty attitude and being a phony person. I have always said you were a LOSER and I was right and no one here believed me on this board except my dear friend Savanna. So again I hope your FAT ass stays gone and not return. No one will miss you Porky.
Checkmate.

'K' Restaurant in College Park, kick ass dining. I dine here regularly. I've also indulged in their Beef Cheek, Elk and Duck all top notch.
Though be warned the filet is $38 bones, so bring your coin, though still alot cheaper than my beloved Wagyu.
