Posts: 34Prosecutor hiding from incompetence
On the KHON fb comments someone posted this http://khon2.com/2014/11/18/prosecut...assault-cases/.
Seems like they're just trying to make it look like they are doing work so they don't get canned.

Posts: 623I almost feel she is now a running joke, obviously she despises men getting into that asian nani and sure those in le know that. The more she expresses displeasure at the way its being done is just pissing her off. Feminist witnessing the arrests of our hapless asian sexy female "victims" basically goes on to say why you no go arrest those men, just a broken record now LOL. Now the backlash is instead of the men being punished, its female sexual harassment as the charges on the "victims" she is trying to rescue in her disguised attempts to go after johns.

Posts: 7271Several years ago le raided and took down a very popular AAMP on 1st floor of CC and 350 Ward street. Their was a lot of media and hype about this on TV. About HPD taking down these establishments saying cracking down on illegal prostitution going on.
I'm sure this is the money that HPD got from Federal Grants that are linked to Human Trafficking that Dept of Homeland Security gives many le depts to use. We all know that these girls are not trafficled but use it as a excuse.
So, I bet this the money for overtime and other crap that hpd had to use or lose the funding.
I'm sure it will be slow for a while and most likely will be business as usual in a few weeks. Hopefully!

How exactly was this impacting him? This entire charade is all activists painting their version of events. I'm convinced that half of people's emotional distress is self-inflicted because of what they are taught to believe and how they are conditioned to respond.

Posts: 199Defining a Police State and Hawaii
As retrieved from I Dictionary.com online:
http://i.word.com/idictionary/police%20state
POLICE STATE: A political unit characterized by repressive governmental control of political, economic, and social life usually by an arbitrary exercise of power by police and especially secret police in place of regular operation of administrative and judicial organs of the government according to publicly known legal procedures.
First Use:*1851.
Possible Example:

Our seclusion from rest of continental US is one of many contributing factors.

Posts: 199Hawaii and lack of Review Board for Standards Conduct
Back in 2013, Civil Beat had article about Hawaii is only State Without A Statewide Police Standards Board.
http://www.civilbeat.com/2013/03/186...andards-board/
As I said, is Hawaii becoming a Police State especially since we are so far removed from the Continental US? Seems like we on one rock with wolves for shepherds to protect the sheep (aka the Public). Know your rights. Know the law and keep those recording devices handy. There are to much examples of abuse by authorities in this nation that we cannot assume that because we are in the Aloha state that it cannot happen here. Believe me. It will one day. It may have already. Stay tuned.

Posts: 673Our race has a special talent for posturing and bowing to the prevailing social norms. We are a nation of people raised on the undercurrent of Protestant values and all the sexual taboos that entails. I mean, until I was twenty, I was constantly being conditioned to one world view, and in that view, prostitution was a 'dirty dirty sin'. I am now squarely on the other side of the isle. But I can visualize a confrontation where I end up debating a very opinionated, myopic version of myself.

Eliot Spitzer anyone? Crusader against prostitution as New York Attorney General. Secretly seeing high end escorts. Resigned after becoming NY Governor in 2008 in humiliation. Hypocrite.
But in some small way, I have to be a hypocrite everyday when I walk around downtown all dressed up. A proper businessman. I can't really say what I think without losing my livelihood. So in my own way, I'm living the same lie. And what an expedient lie it is..

Posts: 199Draconian Law Alive in State HI
Draconian law is correct. Has anyone ever try to read the HRS and local laws? Not to mention the signs of this very State seemingly becoming a Police State. Look around. Take notice. Heed the signs. Be informed. Be vigilant. Be aware.

They mentioned these girls are human traffic victims. But it does not seem like the girls have bruises all over and weeping in tears when you meet them and they sure luv what they do and do what they luv.
POKE.

Totally agree. To think they can eliminate the world's oldest profession sounds so delusional. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if those who take an oath to enforce those laws (including undercover LE) visit the AMPs, escorts, street ladies. So hypercritical and corrupt.
