He got to close and paid for it with a brass knuckle make-over. Thugs think they can intimidate you by being tough until they get hurt and then they cry like a little bi-.

I always google the number and any pics. Then I assume the less attractive photos are the real chick. There are some fairly unattractive women on craigslist, IMHO.

Wiggin -- Please don't be embarrassed or somehow feel funny. I, too, am glad you're OK and all that was lost was some money (I know fun money is hard to lose), but still some of these thugs can be brutal.

I mentioned your story to an experienced monger and his strategy is to keep a wallet with some phony I'd, eg, his monger name, some cash and a few expired debit cards. He calls it his 'throw down' wallet if he gets mugged. He escapes and they get a wallet with fake I'd, fake debit cards and cash. He never told me this before but said he was robbed at knife point in Midtown West (NYC west 40's) about ten years ago and they got his real I'd, cc etc and it took some explaining to his Mrs why he was in the west 40's, had to cancel / get new cc etc. Cops never found anything, but it was a major hassle. I think its a good idea he has.

At first, I didn't want to give in, but after a minute or two I had too. I just dropped the money and ran a few blocks to get away. Lucky I came out with a few bruises.

This person is going by 2205 & 4058 number. Watch out.
