Just to chime in on this topic, Hsv1 is oral herpes and can be transferred by oral to genitals but it's not too common based on its mode of infection. As for Hsv2 which is genital herpes, it's not just fluid but actually rubbing it into the skin (intercourse or heavy rubbing) so it's not too frequent to transfer the virus when you have a condom. The studies show people had a decent chance of avoiding herpes if they did the following.

1) Wear a condom for intercourse and strap it on before you have genital contact.

2) The sores on a lip hsv1 or genitals hsv2 are the main danger times to transmit the virus. There is viral shedding as well but not at the quantity that is very risky. If I see a sore then I'm OUT.

There is always a risk but general precautions will be a reasonable way to avoid an infection. Stay safe.

Like someone else mentioned a condom won't stop herpes because it's generally passed by skin to skin contact or coming in contact with an open herpes sore, unlike most stds that pass via fluid transfer. The sad truth is that the majority of people have been exposed to hsv1 and I would guess that well over 60% of the adult population who is sexually active has been exposed to hsv2. You'll never really know if a provider has herpes unless you find a prescription or notice open sores. Even if they have no visible sores, the virus could still be passed to you. Last I checked the cdc does not recommend getting tested for herpes because you can't cure it and studies have shown that knowing rarely changes sexual behavior and most people don't disclose it.

Condoms will only protect you from fluid transfer, which will at least generally protect you from most of the stuff that will kill you. Really the only two defenses are abstinence and monogamy (if you trust your partner).

Just thinking that we seem to be experiencing a dearth of really hot providers in the area.

When I got started in this, ahem, hobby, back around 2003, it seemed like with Innovative Beauties and a few other agencies, you could also find an 8 or 9 who was reliable and loved to fuck. Or you could go to The Dollhouse and get a 9 or 10, or two or three of them, for big $$.

Anyone agree? Has the quality gone down or am I misremembering?

Hey Mongers, I need some info. In the past I've had various providers who give BBBJCIM but some stats in San Fransisco is rather troubling. Seems like there's an uptick in syphillis cases in SF which may be due to oral. How safe is getting BBBJ from a provider? Thoughts?
