Wondering what the "usual" donation is for the different services?

I usually donate $. 4 for standard finish. Have never requested anything else.

If I were to do so what should I expect to pay? Would this be the same.

Around the country (travel some)? Probably 10% to 20% more in.

I've been here multiple times and always had a pretty decent time. Quality varies by provider, but always pretty well worthwhile.

Paid a visit to the old blue light today and was greeted by Lisa. Reasonably young thicker girl with a cute face. Opted for the hour. English was poor and tree her off a bit when she asked, "where from?" When I said Indianapolis, she thought I was saying I was the police. Anyway after a couple minutes we got that resolved. Asked how I wanted it so said medium. Man, I would hate to feel a hard rub from this gal. Felt like I had been beaten by a lumberjack when she was through; however, I felt surprisingly good when she was done. Overall, not a bad visit with standard finish. May repeat.

I was fortunate to visit the Hydrogen Suite today and received a wonderful massage from Amy. She was petite, attractive, and playful, and the massage was everything I had hoped it would be. I plan to repeat soon. It was a great experience.

Had a long lunch break yesterday so I thought I would try a new to me spot. Ambiance was poor as adjoining business was blasting Top 40 music and could clearly be heard through thin walls. Masseuse spoke little to no English which made communication somewhat difficult. 5/10 appearance and definitely part of the come to Indy to retire age set. Massage was not much to write home about. The old PC repair shop protection plan was offered but I declined the service. Would not rush back to this one.

There are plenty of AMPs where you can leave happy on the first, or at worst, 2nd visit, after self-service the 1st time. There are a few others with added menu items on the 1st visit as well. These places are all easy to find, which is why they frequently have a short run.

DrHung is looking for the other kind of place, the type of place that's been around for years, looking perfectly legit, but offering 2 different levels of service. The only way to get the second level is to either go with a regular who vouches for you, or spend the time and money to become a regular.

You don't get treated like Norm at Cheers, on your first visit.

This is very true, it does pay to put in the time getting pleasant massages and feeling out the vibe of the place. Of course, in the end they could just need to look at your official paperwork (which have pictures of Lincoln, Jackson and Hamilton on them).

Nope. Just making a point for all the people who want the key to the city on the first visit. I'm sure most have had their share of wasted sessions, even places where the Intel says it's a sure thing.

If you're looking for the sure thing, it's easy to find. It might be overpriced, it might not be that good, but it's there. But if you're looking for the best experience, where mamasan knows your name, guides you to new talent and always makes sure you leave happy, you have to put in the time.

For the new guys, do your homework, try the sure thing, and then TOFTT. Learn to read the signs. No play might mean never, it might mean not today, it might mean not with you, or it might mean let me get to know you better.

I wouldn't recommend 15 visits with nothing, unless the massage is good enough by itself. But, I got started with long term physical therapy, including 3 massages / week. The first therapist hinted at extras the first time, and was fired when she offered the wrong person. The next was very professional for several weeks, before a little tease started to appear, then I was eventually given the option of offsite visits. It was worth the wait, I just wish I could have turned those sessions in to the insurance company.
