Well, most of it comes from the flagging procedure. As an example, if you post your first ad ever you've obviously have never been "flagged" before and it takes a much larger number of flags to get your ad taken down. Each time you get flagged the number required shrinks and by the time you've been flagged a few times it gets down to where it just takes a few or even just one flag to get you taken down. The system gives a "normal" email address more "credit" than the obvious BS ones like gmail and hotmail and it takes more to ruin you're so called "rep" on CL and your posts stay up. The system will also either ignore or block YOU if you actually flag too many other posts.

I have a general question to put out there. I maintain two CL accounts. One from a BS email and the other from a Comcast email account. I post under both. I am wondering why the postings from the Comcast account, no matter how outrageous, NEVER get flagged, while very few survive from the BS account. Is there a reason why this happens. Sometimes.

I post the exact same posting under both, the the BS one get flagged, while the other survives?
