Posts: 2479If you are older than 20, you can't be my son because I moved here in the 90's. I also don't know of this Takeba bar. I did come here in the 80's to visit every so often, but clubbing was more my speed. Met some hot Japanese chicks at Point After, Atlantis and Maharaja. Other favorite spots were Spats, Nicks and whatever was at the top of the Ala Moana hotel.

Speaking of kusai, that is one thing I really can't stand. If you come to a bar, please be clean and not smelly because you have an effect upon the environment. One guy sat in the booth next to me and I was thinking WTF walked in! The guy reeked like when you work on your house remodeling all day long. Another thing is the guys smoking weed in the parking lots. Why do people need to do that? It stinks up the place and makes you less cognizant of your surroundings. That is bad news when at a KB.

Connie was the first girl I ever bought a drink. I saw her still working at Casino or butterfly couple years ago using the same name, she must be close to 60 yrs old.

Posts: 301You got a good memory. Nicole was very good looking and statuesque. Whenever we went there Nicole, Tammy, Chu (Tammy's sis) and of course Alice would always take care of us. They taught me how to eat King Crab with mayo there. Good memories of fun times, good food and beautiful women.

I'm beginning to believe I may be your illegitimate son! Lmfao! I'm in the same shoes as yours. Even mama's hearts are broken. They've been propositioning me to marry their gal (s) on too many occasions and jokingly them too or atleast I hope they're joking hehehe. I honestly don't know why these gals fall for me. I'm a drinker that enjoys the atmosphere provided there are no kusai muddahs around me. I spend here and there sometimes frugally but that ain't much honestly. I know I don't need to spend the big dollars like some folks do to get the Hime-samas but for me I don't care about notches on my belt. I'm all about having fun and drinking my brains out sometimes not all the time. My cohorts know me and the type of ass clown I am. I guess must be the Charisma & Charm factor who knows what these girls see because I have the slightest clue. Eat, drink, laugh it up, make them laugh, be happy then whatever happens happens.

I totally agree with you brother John but if you think back 20-30 years ago was that the case, I know when the little head is in love man it's hard to override it with the big head. I am so glad those days are over.

I still remember her and the good but expensive times. The little head was working overtime back then LOL got to laugh about it now but back then, man this fool was in love. Posts: 2479KBGs don't break my heart, I break theirs. Hahaha! The main thing in keeping yourself safe, is to always think with the big head. Be rational and do not get emotional and show your feelings.

The poll was tied that means there is interest. I started a fight thread, so that shit has to stop here now, today.
Back to talking about KBG's and how they break your hearts.

Both personally, and professionally I meant no offence when I said that I wondered if that spirit still existed. To any that may have taken offence, please accept my apologies.

For what it's worth, here's my take on the situation:
The inherent problem with the 2 kb threads is that people are self-preservationists by nature. And becuz of this, these threads are not and will not ever be like the AMP threads, barring any major shift in attitude (ain't going to happen). People on the AMP threads willingly share info on specific providers that they've been with. The providers, in turn, RELISH good reviews on themselves becuz it means more business. There isn't the inherent need for guys to "protect" their valuables (the providers) becuz no one is going to "steal their goods". However, with the kb threads guys are super reluctant to reveal names becuz of several reasons. Mainly they feel that someone else will swoop in and snatch their lunch, I suspect. Or maybe they want to protect the girl (being noble). Or maybe they just don't want the competition. It does NOT HELP that some guys are reportedly reading the posts to their kbgf's. That one freaks ME out. WHY? Worse yet, some have admittedly GIVEN THEIR PASSWORD for their USSG account to a kbg (GO? How dumb is that?
The upshot of all this is that with all this anonymous scoring going on, it opens itself to scrutiny or blatantly being called out as BS. So, to avoid this "callin out", what happens is the thread turns into a daily journal for idiots. "I walked thru town and went to so and so bar. Was shitty so went Kalihi stopped at so and so bar, saw some lvb's and ate good grinds. Sat wit one girl I like but that's all I going to say". Is this what you mean by "taking the thread back" to its usual plethora of intel?

These ladies claiming they shoot in the 80's and 90's. That is a really good score for weekend warriors. I myself shoot under 100, on a great day with no winds factor I shoot between 80's and 90's.
Every time I go golfing with BG, they ask me to give them 1 stroke handicap per hole and have a friendly wages. I still beat them. But these 4 ladies claiming they shoot in the 80's and 90's, then we should play it even.

Every time you hit the "Upload Report" button you need to reach for a towel so you can clean their spoog off your face because they just popped another load between your eyes.
Brother Getting Old, I suspect the aloha spirit is an ideal that simply doesn't exist on the islands anymore.
