I am not a lawyer, but I have to chime in on this as I have learned quite a bit recently about dealing with police. I am an 'open carrier' and often receive lots of looks when in public. Honestly, most people are okay with it but there are a few who think 'guns are bad'. Anyways, my point is; when dealing with cops here in North Carolina, you do not have to answer any questions when approached. North Carolina is NOT a "stop-and-identify" state! This means a cop MUST have 'Reasonable Articulated Suspicion' (RAS) to demand you to show your I'd. Using LatinaVic's post, if front desk personnel follows me and asks "where are you coming from or going?" It is none of his / her business. Regardless of where you are. Sure, they can ask you to leave, which you should do immediately, but the details of why you are there isn't their concern (this also applies to the police). So many people put themselves in the crosshairs by thinking they can talk their way out of things even by being 100% honest. Any question the cops ask you in a situation like this is so he can use it against you at a later time. You are better served to ask the officer "am I free to go?" or "am I being detained"? If you are being detained, then say "I refuse to answer any questions without my lawyer present!" If you are free to go, then by all means, get the hell out of there and don't look back! Again, you do not have to present any I'd (or even answer questions) unless you are driving a motor vehicle. We do not live in Nazi Germany, police (and most definitely hotel personnel) may ask us to leave, but they aren't entitled to more than that if they there's no "RAS". Anyways, keep it simple and keep your mouth shut. Please.

So this is a long shot, but used to cross paths with this one (http://raleigh.backpage.com/FemaleEs...blond/14892254) over drinks at place we both happened to frequent and she disclosed some professional details in casual conversations between herself, my GF and I. Long story short, I think I'm ready to venture from the AMP to the BP scene but not without hesitation.
