Posts: 628While true that's also oversold by the do gooders here IOT get spas shut down and it was used in a bogus manner a few years back to get our RI laws changed. Do you remember that?

How about in MA, where all I can remember was two unsuccessful spa related attempts to prosecute? Try talking to the AMP providers here and you'll find they knew what they were getting in to, pay taxes, get their green cards when they're eligible and have not been coerced in any way.

Posts: 113I know this is getting out of hand and the administration here is going to put this in other forums.
But all I can say is do your due diligence.
A pick a place that has a business.
Just Google and see if the business is legitimate.
That is all. Or secretary of state.

Posts: 333Sex trafficking, girls being sold, coerced and forced into sexual slavery to become prostitutes, is a very real thing and if you don't believe that then you are very naive. So, yes there are plenty of victims out there. As mongers, all we can do is keep our eyes open and not patronage places that do not have willing participants working there. And even that can be tough as those in that situation, some not even speaking english at all, are usually threatened to provide the best possible cheerful and willing service or else.

That said, what some Attorney Generals will term as a victim is very broad, not realistic and used to serve their political agendas. So yes, they are out to get us as well because riding on a moral high horse is good politics.

Posts: 575Not a lawyer, but from guys I know, you can get busted and even if its dismissed, you still have a record and people know. For some, the SO and your job may not stand on the legal expert definitions and will just say you're morally repugnant, and "Get out!

But its fun if you don't get caught, so, choose wisely and let the big head make decisions for a change.

If the cops have any video evidence and if they can I'd you then they can bring you in before a Grand Jury and question you and if you lie to the grand jury under oath then your ass iscooked. Ou can deny but if word gets out on who you are I know my ass would be cooked. If the girl IDs you and tells the cops that she provided services other than a massage when you visited then there will be trouble. One reason I hate the video security cameras.

If you pick up a SW then in car ok.
But in a business place they can't. I go for massage they can't do a thing. Unless you incriminate on your self. That simple.
Do not be afraid. If you go to McDonald's and they are selling crack out of the back room do they arrest everybody eating burgers that's crazy. Walk tall and don't talk. Golden rule.
Again go to reputable place that's been around for a long time not I little hole in the wall.

Posts: 628Not a quite a spinner (too tall for that designation), but Teddy at Four Seasons, like I said in post #11389, is probably just what you're looking for based on your previous posts.

Yes that is true. That was one of the Attorney Generals projects. Since she lost the run for Governor of Ma she won't be directly involved with it much beyond January 2015. Who knows what the new AG will do with it. And yes the new AG is from the same gender pool as the out going so we will have to see what her priority's are.

Since when? I remember years ago when Pleasant Street opened and tried $70 for 60 minutes, $60 for I think 45 minutes, but soon enough got smart and went to the same $60 for the hour like the other area spas. Are you saying they've raised their door fee? If so, when?

Posts: 144Do customers ever get busted?
Here is a link to the tv report on 40 Harrison. They make a lot of story about a simple $40 HE. Are they uninformed or simply hyping it?

Disturbing part is that they say police are focusing on customers, not the supposed "victims" providing the service. That would be disturbing if it were true. We all know that over the years several RI AMPs have been investigated and the owners charged, but does anyone know if customers ever get charged, arrested, or name in the newspapers or TV? I do not recall any, but perhaps others know better. I usually chicken out because my name in the paper, arrest, whatever, would be disasterous for me. Would be nice to know that I have nothing to worry about in that regard.
