How would one get a burner phone? Do we just go to a phone store and buy a prepaid phone? Do they ask for I'd or contact info when doing this? Is it possible just to buy a prepaid phone with a certain amount of minutes that stops working once the minutes are up or do they only have month to month things? I'm new to this so bear with me.

I bought a cheapie at Walmart years ago. Think I paid like $10 for it. It had a double minute deal on the phone, so whatever you buy to add on, it will be double. I usually but the $100 minutes card because the minutes last a year. I have never used up my minutes. And they carry over. So once a year $100. Good value.

Think I will upgrade my phone soon. I see phones with triple minute deals now. Maybe I will use more minutes as the phones become more high tech. Who knows.

Just pay cash for the phone and pay cash for the minutes card and you are in business. And anonymous.

Can you text with these prepaid phones? How much to call or text?

Yes, you can text. I recommend getting a cheap Android or Windows Phone and getting a pay per use plan. AT&T and T-Mo both have plans where you can use the phone for the day and it is a few bucks. Most of the monthly prepaid plans include tons of or unlimited text. There are other plans that are pay per minute and pay per text plus a service fee for the day. Depends on how much you use it, some of the plans have a whole month of service for like $30. I don't call escorts too often while in Hawaii so I use the pay for use that day option. The little brochures at WalMart have the prices for each plan.

Anyway, get a cheap smart phone. The Nokia Windows Phones are really cheap and you can even get them on craigslist and just swap the SIM. It performs better than the cheap Android phones. I got some bottom tier LG Android before getting that $29 Windows Phone that AT&T had and the ease of use for the Nokia is much better for the basics. I had a clamshell style flip phone at first but texting was a pain in the ass on it. I don't even remember how T9 was even tolerable on cell phones 15 years ago.

Same experience for me. In the second week of November, she took a weekend trip to Maui. When she came back to Honolulu, her ads read, "Last Call" (or something like that), so I took that to mean she was leaving Hawaii. I called then and tried to set up a day time appointment, but she sounded bothered and disinterested. Never got the appointment or any conversation about rates. I texted about ten minutes after our conversation, without a response.

How about just using a pay phone where ever at 50 cents a call to make your appts?

There aren't as many pay phones around as there used to be, now that everyone and his grade school kid has a smartphone (I was at a gas station and a 9 year old girl riding her bike was headed right for my car because she was doing something on her smart phone).

It also would be hard if you're dealing with a BP girl using the "2-call system"; there likely won't be a payphone near her place. When pagers became popular, the phone numbers were removed from the payphones or the ringers were silenced. Today, perhaps the numbers are blocked, who knows.

Like Incogfilipino says, WalMart is good but I did have trouble activating a phone and so did they. I then tried Radio Shack which is expensive but there is a good deal here or there, and they activated it for me. I was glad I opted to let them do it because it was a hassle even for them.
