If I am not mistaken, and I could be. The problem with those aps is your Caller I'd shows as "unavailable" any ho is going to flag that with a nonanswer. Correct me if I am wrong.

Its been discussed before. Use a throw away phone (second sim / cheap phone). New sims are like pennies seriously, and eBay Craigslist for a used unlock phone or something on a prepaid plan. And leave the phone off and stash it away. It'll last days without charging LOL.

TEHO, as some guys don't care if the girl does a reverse-lookup on them, but personally I only use prepaid phones.

Put another way, I only allow my prepaid phone to come into contact with the Mongering World and was perfectly willing to "part" with a phone when I had reason to believe it was contaminated.

The only 'bad' part (personally I don't care) is that apparently with recycled numbers the history is still attached; I just show the girl my P-O-S no-contract phone in those rare cases when they are concerned with what they claimed to have found after doing a look-up.

Honestly idk LOL. I've met several girls using these apps so I'd assume the answer would be no. Although admittedly I mostly only text the girls. I would assume the bogus number just pops up on the caller I'd.

Prefer burner. If you decide you're done with the current number you are using you can 'burn' it and just create a new number. Only downside is minutes are non transferable to new numbers.
