I have a hobby burner phone, so it can't be traced to me from a provider's phone. I'm really not too worried about the cops getting it because I keep it locked. And unless I were involved in some major ring, which I'm not, I'm not going to fret over a warrant forcing me to unlock it. I'm cautious, but not paranoid.

While a provider can ALWAYS change her mind (and they frequently do) having what they agreed to in text has saved me from being up-sold and up-priced on many occasions now. Maybe simply standing my ground might have worked too. But having the text stops that argument about what was agreed to dead in its tracks and I feel like it gives me some leverage.

New to the site. I've endulged in the hobby on occasion and am coming to Vegas next month for business. Two quick questions.

That's just it, "you have a record". If the provider gets busted for something, they will look at her phone records and they could call you in, to see what your relationship was with her. These lower end providers are always getting busted for something-soliciting, robbery, theft, drugs. Texting with them is too risky.

Its best to distance yourself from them once you have finished business with them. I let a SW I met on BH use my phone to call someone and this (guy) kept calling after I dropped her off.
