In person you can see some definition in her abdominal muscles, and a bit in her back as well. An important factor to consider in photographs is the type of lighting. For these types of shoots, I use softboxes, which produce soft lighting (big shocker, I know). As a result, you won't see much muscle definition. For athletic shoots, harder (ie more contrasty) lighting is typically used to accentuate muscle definition. The lighting is also usually feathered, and a mixture of glycerin and water is applied to the skin to give specular highlights, to again enhance muscle definition. That's what I use anyway, some also use olive oil or baby oil, but I find them messy, harder to clean up, and I don't like the smell. Harder lighting is also typically used with male models in general as well. Women on the other hand are almost always shot with softer, more diffused, lighting.

But everyone has their personal preferences regarding body types. I'm not belittling your preference by any means, just pointing out a factor in your interpretation of her body type as perceived in the images which you may not have considered.

As for if she's really serious about changing her attitude, that I can't answer.
