I saw "Nina" last night, I've read mixed reviews on the oThER site but she was doing the whole. 6 quick visit it was like 1 am so I went ahead and gave her a go. Was sweet on the phone sounded really nice and all. Got the address called about 5 minutes out then again at the hotel. Got to agree with JS here. Being from Vegas, I've heard of quite a few providers charging high prices for minimum or half assed service. Their reason for the high prices: "it's Vegas, everything costs more". The fact is, if tourist and high rollers would stop paying those high prices, the girls wouldn't think of keeping their prices high. It's all about supply and demand.

Based on Ernie's review, I called up jazmin. She quoted prices double what he stated. I let her know that a "friend" of mine who recommended her paid less. She simply said I had the wrong person. Although Ernie had a good review for her, I'm not sure if she'd be worth that money. But I bet if a monger paid her or any other provider that much, they'd keep their prices that high for a while.

While perusing new reviews on the oThER site, I came across 2 examples which clearly demonstrate why the hobby is such a struggle in the DMV when it comes to the price to quality ratio.

Example 1: Tantra Eve districtofbliss.com and http://dc.backpage.com/BodyRubs/expe...ve-37/13649742 was reviewed for the first time by a hobbyist with 3 prior reviews over the past 18 months. This monger pd 600 for 3 hrs of "tantra" which, when you read his review, was pretty much nothing more than standard FBSM with some breathing and candlelight thrown in. This monger's previous reviews were in Boston, SFO and Sydney, Australia, which indicates he travels frequently on either his personal or some company's dime. But the fact that, after shelling out 6 bills for an overpriced HE, he recommends and would repeat with this provider tells you something about his mindset. Namely that for this guy the price to quality ratio is not very important because he's apparently got cash burning a hole in his pocket.

Example 2: Nina http://nova.backpage.com/FemaleEscor...mt-25/12517819 was reviewed for the 8th time by a hobbyist with 62 prior reviews. Despite the fact this monger obviously has plenty of experience (both for the hobby in general and on the oThER site) and despite the fact Nina gets poor marks (in some cases, really bad) on her prior reviews, this guy still pulled the trigger on a visit and not surprisingly he got crap service!

From #1 the takeaway is that the DMV has a problem with mongers who don't care about how price relates to quality, they just want what they want, when they want it, and they have the cash to make it happen. A very predictable result is the DMV gets a reputation for high prices which attracts providers of varying quality, but also gives those providers an incentive to charge more compared to the prices they could charge in other parts of the US.

From #2 the takeaway is that even experienced mongers shoot themselves (and the rest of us) in the foot when they continue to give business to providers with a track record of bad service. The predictable result here is that these subpar providers stick around the DMV because they not only continue to get business but (see #1) can also charge more for cr*p service.

It just makes an average guy like me shake my head in disbelief, but such is the market we find ourselves in and wishful thinking won't change anything. But for me it highlights the value of this forum, doing a decent amount of homework and always trying to think with the big head.

150/200, I'm a frequent client so I pay a fair bit less than that rate (older rates when they were still living up here), but from what I recall you can negotiate by about 20-30 bucks from those rates if you just ask. No advice really, just be decent and clean and those ladies will take care of ya.

A Google search of her 954 number yields very few results, which generally means she's either very new or she's changed numbers. An image search found lots of ads in the LA and Inland Empire areas of CA in which she used a 562 number and that she sometimes works with another (dark-haired) girl. Also, neither search led to any reviews.

Since she's apparently been in the SoCal game for a while, she's either here in search of greener pastures or because she's worn out her welcome on her home turf. Hard to say which but, considering the number change and the lack of reviews, she was probably not a great TOFTT choice.

It's also important to remember that providers are much more savvy when it comes to navigating the waters of the hobby than are most clients.
