Yeah, because someones going to want their name and picture in national headlines as the guy who is on an 'exposeajohn' website.

The only way to combat this would be to publicize the girls who are selling names.

There is a new Scam in town that you need to be aware of. There is a site that is contacting girls, offering them $25 for leads of "Johns". Here's what I was told, by a BPGirl who is now working this scheme: You make a call to the BP Girl, she then "turns you in" to www.exposingjohns.com. This site publishes your phone, (and if it can be tracked down on Google Plus, Facebook or anywhere else, also your photo). If you want to have your profile taken down, it costs $$. If exposingjohns.com get the money from you, they turn around and pay the Girl $25 for the lead, ($35 if she provides the picture.).

A regular advertiser on BP Ft. Meyers who focuses on Port Charlotte and Charlotte County told me about it, (NO, it's NOT Tami Steele, she is a trusted provider) and in two weeks she is making more money from "turning in" the phone calls she gets, than she is from providing. She is planning on getting out of the business by just turning in leads, and advertising on BP across the state. I know that she is not the only one who has been introduced to this scam, as she learned of it from a 31 year old BP Girl who just returned to Ft. Myers after about a 6 month absence. I'm sure this word is at least partly out in Ft. Myers by now.

In addition, the exposingjohns.com website is sending emails to providers who include their email within the ads, telling them about this new "profit center", for all the "wasted calls" they get.

Of course, this will lead to all the conversations about burner phones, Google phones, etc. , but that is not the point. The point is to ALWAYS focus on your safety and security, and protect yourself. Check the Ft. Myers Board for more input.

Had to check out this site. Curiousity got the best of me. You are right, there a lot of profiles with no or info. Just a number.

What I did notice is that most of these are probably fake profiles. I say that because all of the following:

1. all they show is the text from the suspected monger, never a text response back from the ho. Which is unusual.

2. a lot of these pics have another individual in them. Who in their right mind would send a ho, a pic of them with someone else in it, especially your women. The name of the game is discretion. Because someone else is in the photo, I think that person can legally request that their pic be moved which in turn removes the suspected mongers pic from the site.

3. the format of the text are also suspect, which leads me to believe a lot of photoshop is going on. The text screen on all text messaging apps shows the number you are texting as part of the conversation window, NOT, your number. That being said, I think this is also legal grounds for removing of a profile if you wanted to spend the money to challenge it in court since it is now tampered with. Does this mean one can win $$ for libel / slander?

I also think photoshop because they are using 3 standard templates from what I can see. Each template is showing the same battery percentage and the same notification items. The only thing that changes is the time of the text and the time.

What a scam! An angry ex girl friend could just post you on there. I am sure they will last a few years. But eventually someone will sue them for slander and put them out of business.

That website does not just rely on girls giving them numbers. They also use fake ads on craigslist with numbers to text. I got a text on my Google Voice number saying that my number had been used to contact a prostitute and that it was listed on exposingjohns.com. All they had was the number, no name, no photo, so I just texted them back and told them to stick it.
