I've been doing quite a bit of traveling recently, to places like the Bay Area, Chicago, Newark, Jacksonville, Phoenix, Houston. All of these places are arguably less conservative than Cincinnati, if only due to their size alone. Yet none, not a one, holds a candle to Cincinnati with respect to providers. I was shocked to find that to be true.

What is different is that AMPs, to any practical extent, simply don't exist here. And they do in all of those places. And I don't know that there are as many real high-end providers ($500 and up per hour) here as there are in bigger cities, either.

And why is Cincinnati so good? Who the fuck knows and, really, who the fuck cares? LOL What I do know, fellow mongers, is that we are damn lucky to be living here. A guy could meet a different provider each week and quite possibly never run out of fun given Cincinnati's provider volume and turnover.

In fact, the only guys I'm kinda jealous of are (a) that damned Glockman and his photos and (b) the deity known as Admin2 and his stories. Other than that, I'm pretty damn happy to be living in monger paradise!

I guess I'm kind of dense in that I never quite figured out why Cincinnati was the adopted hometown of Admin2 until now. But accessing the site recently in a different path than usual, I happened to notice that Cincinnati has something like 57,000 plus reports, way more than any other city in Ohio or any of the far bigger cities in this great country of ours. The numbers in some places, like New York, are downright pathetic.

On a per capita basis, only such places as Memphis and Louisville seem to compete with us. Dayton and surrounding towns are pretty active too.

My question is why? Is Cincinnati really the Puntang Capital of America, despite our long legacy of the likes of Simon Leis and Carl Lindner trying to make us righteous, our crackdowns on all forms of adult entertainment or any form of modern art that involves photos of guys taking it up the wazoo? Is USASG just more popular than the other sites in this region for some reason? Are we part of a fertile crescent of carnal pleasures that extends roughly along the Ohio and Mississippi river valleys from Dayton to Memphis?

I would say it's just an extension of the old theory that the preacher who's always ranting about gays is invariably a closet case. But while Cincinnati has that conservative reputation, certainly that's not the case with Memphis.

I just don't know, but find it kind of fascinating.
