You are correct that things have loosened up but no need to get specific. Several clubs in the southern New England area are worth the stop. Ct Ma and Ri all have establishments worth your time.

"what happened" is that the police arrested those dancers at Cheaters and all the clubs clamped down. CF doesn't let anything go on and that's how most of the dancers made their money or at least the hint of providing more let dancers con guys into the private booth $ - with not even a remote possibility of extras guys don't pack the place so the girls stop working there. I don't have any proof but BP seems to have a LOT more ads since the Cheater's bust / closure. Used to be I could read the headlines and recognise 95% of the advertisers, the past few months lots I don't recognise.

CL stapled the Chamgpagne Room curtains open so nothing can go on, CF removed the top of the doors so bouncers can look in, the only club that still gets packed is CD because even if the dancers don't provide extras the champagne rooms haven't changed so they still provide privacy and guys think they will get lucky. (some dancers might still provide extra to long-time regulars, but I am not one so wouldn't know. I did go there 2-3 mights a week for 3-4 months and had a lot of dances repeating with my favorites and always tipping well and no one ever even offered me any extras so I can't help thinking it must be pretty rare these days if it occurs at all.
