Yes I do not doubt that that happens. One method I have found to be reasonably successful is not to ask for the specific girl but to ask who is working today. That puts the mama on the spot to come up with the names.

The AMPs often will tell you that another lady has that name (Michelle, for instance) even if Michelle has rotated to another AMP.
