As I mentioned in my initial post, I had most a lot of expensive mistakes but feel as I have learned from those experiences. I have a current situation which I am trying to salvage (after making some initial mistakes again) and would welcome any suggestions or advice from others:

Using SD4 Me, I received a reply from a 21 blonde in my area whom I had messaged on a couple of occasions. All went well with the first couple of M&G's and she was willing to enter the FC during the first week.

However, things started going downhill the next week. First, she asked for help with her car insurance. I hesitated but she said that could apply to our next 2 dates. Since our visit to the FC was pretty awesome, I gladly agreed. So she gave me her login info and I took care of the initial premium.

Then there were more "emergencies" that seemed to follow thereafter. However, since I had access to her personal info from the insurance login, I was able to perfom some due diligence (facebook, twitter). Based on her twitter account, her stories weren't adding up. For instance, being sick, having a job, etc. In fact, she had agreed to make a visit to the FC this past weekend but backed out to being "sick" Although, his twitter showed that was anything but true as she was going out with friends both nights.

Earlier this week, I said no to another emergency request and she then stood me up on a lunch date. So, I have attempted some efforts to salvage this relationship, since I really to continue visits to the FC with her. I have followed up with an email stating what I am willing to pay per date that ends up in the FC. She never responded to the email, but over text has said that is fine with her.

In the following days, we have texted some back and forth and all seems to be a go at this point for this weekend. In fact, she replied to a text yesterday that she missed me (although it took her 6 hours to return the text) At this point, I am skeptical about things and realize she may just be messing with me with. At this point, I am willing to put up with a certain amount of drama for visits to the FC.

Okay not a SB but still amusing. I stopped at the local "gentleman's club" on the way home today. As I was chatting with a lovely lady (who could be a long shot SB project, but that may be another story) she mentioned that she is studying for her citizenship exam. I commented that she will probably be better informed than many people born in the USA. She responded by testing my knowledge-"who was the first president? I laughed and said GW, she should give me a tougher question; to which she said "Oh, a lot of the girls didn't know". Now I know where Leno finds them!

Advice/Critique Needed

I am skeptical about things and realize she may just be messing with me with. At this point, I am willing to put up with a certain amount of drama for visits to the FC.

Judge the future by the past. Prepaying doesn't work. She will stiff you at every opportunity. Don't pay any more of her bills. Don't give her any money except when leaving an encounter where you had a good time. Don't overpay. Don't expect your second time together will roll your eyes like the first.

Me: Wow I must say I am surprised that of all people you contact me for help...what was he arrested for?

Her: It's a long story he was sort of set up (I am sure he is totally innocent).

Me: well we can meet at your place this afternoon.

Her: I'm not going to be at my place. I'm going to be trying to get this situation straightened out all day.

My how the mighty have fallen. She has never been really personable or interesting or even polite. I kind of put up with her because she was just there and sent me a text every once in a while.

Long time lurker checking in here, from central VA mostly sticking to the Richmond area. I've just got a single 23 yo baby from SD4 me. She seems to be mostly sane, and drama has been pretty much non existent. A single mom and self employed who from my perspective seems to be busting her ass to make her way if she can, just in the wrong market for her line of work (she knows she'll have to move at some point). I'm sure she'll trade up if the opportunity presents itself simply because I'm a good distance from her and I've made it clear enough that I'm only going to invest so much in someone who really can't travel to me or that I can't see more than 3-4 times a month. If nothing else, it needs to be at some level edifying, not adding to the stress of our everyday lives.

It's been a while since I've checked in, mostly because things have been quiet. I still have my one regular girl, who is getting married in May, but just told me the other day she has "feelings" for me.
