Posts: 1395At least at Christmas I know my coins/dollars in a SA kettle will go to feed
House and clothe someone in need Buying a phone card is not the answer in exchange for a half hour POA. Wrong example my friend. These women in general have extreme difficulty managing funds but at least they have a roof over their heads even if they have an air mattress or a blanket on the floor Kettle money can provide three squares a day a place to sleep, toiletries, possibly some used donated clothing and you don't have to go out at 11 pm at night to buy it. You work hard for your money my friend. If you are going to spend it, give it to missions, SA, or another worthy cause but not for phone minutes. Some of the ladies on here even collect money at the holidays for childrens gifts, poor people down on their luck who need help, but doubt any of them give another provider a phone card because they can't managing money. Again I applaud your willingness to be kind and help out a provider in need, but much better ways of giving in the spirit of the holiday and kindness than buying phone minutes for a lady who can't manage her money or make enough to subsidize her lifestyle. JMO and no offense meant.

Agreed on the below. However, despite my natural do-good-ness, I have found over the few months that I've been a-mongering that a number of these women are in many ways choosing their destiny. I have offered to help the few who have expressed a supposed interest in getting a "normal" job with their resumes, etc., etc. However, when push came to shove, it almost feels like they want to be doing what they're doing, despite the squalor and uncertainty and hopelessness of it all. "Oh, I left my resume on a friend's computer" or "I can't find the flash drive." Not to get into a deep philosophical discussion or anything, but a guy has to wonder sometimes.
I have found myself increasingly reticent to offer much beyond the standard donation. Don't want to get jaded but it just seems more realistic.

Is in the fact that you can feel good about helping someone, even if they've gotten themselves into a problem because of their own (insert reason). Its like putting a few coins in the kettle at Christmas. And, in this case, you might even get to see some good come of your help.

I think in summary this is the lesson to be learned. The time or money isn't really the issue they were minimal I was frustrated they did not keep their word and I think clearly I need to reduce my expectations to none, if there is a benefit great but I should plan on there being none even if one is stated. Thanks again all.

Posts: 2231Golden Rule of Mongering. Do unto others, but don't expect them to do unto you.
Actually I've been in a similar situation and knew up front that the "help" I was providing was really going to be a gift. I figured I had the cash and she needed the cash so what the hell.. As long as I was sure she wasn't buying drugs with it.

What one must think about is are we "helping out" with the idea of making a gift from the goodness of our horny monger hearts? Or are we "helping out" with the idea of creating indebtedness that we expect to be repaid?

I guess I can say that I always felt good anyway, just because I was lending a hand to a fellow human in need. However, I have drawn the line in several cases because I felt I was being taken advantage of. And even still, when I know I'm being scammed, I've bought food for a house where a kid was living. Just because I'm a dumbass.

What is going on? If a provider wants to see only financially stable white guys what's the big deal? Maybe they believe if they go black they won't go back LOL. As far as high volume rates vs. Low volume rates, if I was on that side of the fence I'd rather see 1 or 2 a week rather then 5 a day, yuke that even sounds gross. I know some of us can afford to see 3 Ladies a week at 150 but balk at one for 300 hmmm. Now does advertising in this arena bruise the ego? Maybe, its kinda like a car salesman trying to sell a Bugatti in the projects, LOL. I know where I from, they keep the rent in the apt. Complexes high, so they only attract a certain client, no section 8 that kind of thing. As far as the racial component, this is America don't forget. If you have a couple bad experiances with black men well, its because there black, and you write off all black men. If you have a bad experiance with a couple white men well, its because they were jerks, so just screen better and ask for references. I'm just saying, All kidding aside, the good thing about this hobby is there is just about someone for everyones price point. What would you charge to let someone do to you what you ask these Ladies to do? I'm just saying. Just choose wisely and treat kindly.

Out of line? Well, I suppose not. But I actually think you made out pretty well, considering. Like many here, I've been there and done that many times. Phone minutes, rent money, grocery money for kids, car payment, you name it. The offer is usually similar to your experience.

If so, then help and don't expect to get it back. Just do it as a favor and it is more likely to come back to you than if you really expect it to. I have made some great friends in this way. And had some really awesome "clock off" dates.
This issue has been discussed on the boards for years, and I think the replies usually fall into two categories -- "Don't ever help" and "Help, but don't expect to get it back.".
I don't think I have ever asked a lady to see me for free because I've helped her out. But I have booked a follow-up date, brought a good bottle of wine, and enjoyed her company for a lot more than 30 or 60 minutes. Is it equal or fair? Perhaps not. But if it is someone you really enjoy spending time with, then I think you will make out pretty well.
Be gracious with the lady. See her on her terms. And give her the opportunity to show you that she really is appreciative. Just my two cents worth, as always.

Posts: 6038I rather liked the look on her face. But keep in mind that it may be difficult to grin when you have six inches of dildo shoved up your giner. Here is another shot taken just minutes before, minus the dildo.

No you are not wrong, you should report it. I had a bad experience last January with a well known high class provider, I said what I needed to say, even though I got flax from others about how they could not believe this person could have done this, it still is what it is and it happened. It does happen in this hobby.

The general rule, is do not hand out money or favors, unless they are merely a gift. It usually does not work out well if you expect anything else. The only person that can answer that for you is yourself. If the disconnect above ruined your ability to enjoy your time with her in the future, you should let her know and then carry through with not seeing her: say what you mean and mean what you say.

Eight times out of ten, when a hobbyist complains that they have been taken advantage of by a provider, when all sides of the story come out, you can often see where the whole mess could have been avoided with better communication or foresight. Just off what you gave us, you are not going to like my vote: you fucked up, you trusted her.
