There is one rule that I think is over all else. Be honest in your review. If that's what happened, then you should never back down from telling the truth and naming names, no matter how well established a provider is. Even if the provider has 100 stellar reviews, if your experience with her was bad, say so.

1 bad review doesn't ruin 100 good ones. But a succession of them could mean something different.

I had a not so pleasant experience with NattiGFE / Allison / Buttons / etc., who up to that point, had good reviews. But she was late (excusable because I allowed it), and when during the sessions I mentioned multi-pop, she said she didn't do that even though I paid for the whole her and her ad clearly states, "MSOG". When I told her it said so in her ad, she said that it was a mistake. She copied and pasted another provider's ad and she didn't mean to. Eventually, after I told her that I would have no problems kicking her out, she acquiesced. I wrote about, I was honest about it. It was one bad review, and I don't know if it was the catalyst that made her change, but her ads changed to remove the MSOG, then 1 week later, she advertises, "now offering MSOG".

Reviews are not just to alert other mongers of good / bad providers, but it could also be a warning / report card to providers. The smart ones will read their reviews and make adjustments. The ones that don't, well, they don't do as well.

I need to rant and rave for a min, but I would like to know if I am wrong in my view on this.

I am not going to put the provider on blast but she is a well regarded professional that has been around for awhile and I go way back with her. I received a text the middle of the week asking for help. They don't have a car and their foot was bothering them so they could walk to the closest gas station to put minutes on it. This was their text below.

"Well I need minutes or my phones going to be shut off and I'd even count it as a hh one day soon at your choosing please can you help me.".

So left my place went to a gas station for them at 11 pm, and sent them the pin so they could have the minutes. I am sure you see where this is going, when I go to collect today what I believe is a hhr they say that they ment they would take the amount I paid for the minutes off of their normal rate. I copy and pasted the same text I posted above and they said they can see why I thought what I did, but that's not what they MEANT, and it doesn't even make sense because their hhr rate is obviously much more, implying how could I possibly think that.

So this provider wanted me to get off my couch and go to the store and waste my time when I should have been going to bed and give them more business bc their would have been no discount just an amount off equal to what I spent for the min. While keeping their phone on allowing them to continue to make money while they sat at home. Their time is so valuable, why do the not value ours?

I am ready to write this provider off permanently and never do another favor for a provider again, so I ask again am I out of line?

This is another topic we do about every 3-4 months.

IMHO, you're not out of line but you're expectations might have been off.

There are a couple providers here that I have been willing to help over the years. I don't regret it. It didn't turn into long running requests for help. They were all "one and done" kind of situations. I did it because someone needed help and in every case, they were a provider I clicked with for some period of time. I know in one case, I was kind of a last resort.

But never (never never) expect some in kind payback of discounted or free services. If it happens. Fine. If it doesn't. Fine. But when you get caught up thinking you have some kind of account balance, you'll always get burned.

As to the "never do another favor for a provider", that's totally up to you. I've found that sometimes the pay it forward game can have its benefits, especially when we're not talking high dollar or high time commitment things. I believe (although I don't have any proof) that when I see these ladies now I get better services, I get more flexibility on scheduling, and I get just that little extra. Can't prove it and it may all be in my mind but my experience tells me to listen, be careful, and don't get overcommitted.

Don't ever be a pushover and have the right expectations (as in "none") and you'll do fine.

You already said you were done, yet here you go again. Obsessed much? If you were, I could understand, I have been told I am rather addictive. I don't recall ever saying you shopped at Walmart, I was making a simple comparison, and I never said I came from Tiffany's, again, it was a simple comparison of stores, not our personal habits or tastes. If you were too dense to get it, my apologies. I'll try and make it simpler next time.

Yes, I only date white gentlemen. That's very true. I have no problem with black men, or any other color of men socially. It's a personal preference. No one said a word, other than you, about black men specifically. But your race preference was put in as a side note however sad but true so instead of getting in a war of words with me why don't you get to posting you still have a lot more states to put your ad up in. Again, it boils down to this:

Providers are free to charge whatever they believe their time and services are worth, and will either figure out their market niche and adjust accordingly, or they will find another profession.

Hobbyists (it is a hobby and therefore the income is indeed discretionary) have a right to frequent the providers of their choice and give return business to the providers they feel gave them the best experience at a fee they are comfortable with.

It really is silly to argue about this.

Do I think Lila's price is a bit high? Perhaps, but I don't know because I have not seen her. I can only go off my past experiences and current opportunities. While I might wait and see if she lowers her rates, I will probably still see her even if she doesn't lower her rate.

The true test would be if I would part with the $300 for return visits after I ACTUALLY SPEND TIME WITH HER!

Dawn honey I have always been so fond of you. Yes we have had our differences, but glad we are able to work those out, as I have learned quite a lot from you. I hope in turn I have helped you out some as well. I have haters of course, but to be it's just more publicity, and obviously I am doing something right, or my name wouldn't keep coming out of their mouth. To the one that thinks I don't know what they are up to, I am very aware of it, and it will get you nowhere, so I suggest keeping your opinions and things that you call facts to yourself. Nobody is perfect on this board or anywhere, and never will be. I am sure everyone has skeletons in their closet. Yes I have made mistakes, and I am a much better person because of it.

I do consider myself a more upscale provider, and of course I put Dawn into that category as well. There is another one that posts on this board that I have been conversing with back and forth that is getting right up there as well. But what do you know some of the other ones told her I am not reference friendly, and I don't play well with others. Hmmm I guess more haters. I don't have a problem with giving references as long as I know who you are, and I have actually seen you. Yes there are guys who make up things to try to get an appt, go figure. I have been told by clients that providers will tell them my photos are photo shopped, ummm that I will try to make you exclusive?? WTF Honey I want you to get as much variety as possible, because if not you would have a wife or girlfriend that you would see all the time. The purpose of the provider is to "provide" a way out, or another means of excitement, for just that moment, or however long it lasts. I have regulars since I have started and I am very thankful for that.

I would like to have a Christmas get together for the girls, bury all the hatchets, and be what we are supposed to be...grown adult women, and stop all this hatred. We are supposed to help each other, not hurt each other. So a restaurant in the area, and enjoy each others company. Is that too much to ask?

There is no prize here, nothing to win. But if these "gents", and I use that term loosely with some, think they can bash me and try and deter my business they had better rethink their strategy. I am tired of being picked on for no good reason.

"You better think" before you try and drag me into this. I have remained neutral, supporting your right to charge whatever you want. I did throw a flag on some of your comments in the review thread but that is a loooooonnnnnggggggg established rule regarding advertisers defending on the review threads.

My comment was directed at providers that aren't necessarily trying to fill the "high maintenance" niche that you seem to be going after. There is a prize here, the message you have going out to the several hundred to thousand local members who's business you are obviously trying to attract, otherwise why would you have placed the ads?

If you really want to get me off the fence, please feel free. This is all in black, not blue ink, you're more than welcome to respond as you see fit. (You're kind of new around here, I've sort of adopted Sincy and when I write in black like I am now I'm just another guy. When I write in Blue like this, I'm being the admin).

Ok, you ask. We have all had providers cancel and leave us waiting, even high end providers. Yes our time is as valuable as yours. I would expect the same from you as your requesting or off the next rescheduled appointment. Yes I have been with providers that ask the same donation, and would again? Yes.

I do not complain about your donation, I do not make judgement on that until after I have been with a provider. And as you say it is ours to pay or stay away and your right to ask. I respect that.
