I agree, I work a full time job with family. When I schedule, I planned and set ahead, and call as soon as I know if I need to cancel. Usually a couple hours before. Gas is 4 plus a gallon and we probably traveled a half hour to get there, waited around for 20 to 30 minutes with the car running and then drive 30 minutes back home. So we actually are losing money. You aren't actually losing money because it's money you never had in the first place. You are losing figurative money we are literally losing money. And I like you am an independent contractor so I too could be using that time wasted to make money so I'm losing figurative money too.
