Took a spin on the south loop for the first time in about a year on Thursday in the rain around 5 pm. Only saw 2 and was hesitant to stop because she looked young. Sometimes I feel I am too cautious which some might say isn't possible. I always do a swoop around the blocks behind the SW I'm targeting to make sure the coast is very clear but this has allowed other mongers to pull up and snag them. Same tonight, saw a cute WSW off G that was hiding off the main road about 50 feet up the street. I wanted to get a good look at her face so I came down the street from the other way so she would be on my driver side. At that point I was at the end of that street so I swooped around the block again only to see her talking to someone at his window and then jump in. Grrr.
