Since I was in the area I decided to give this place a try and I struck out..NO BIG DEAL. Had I gone out there for a purpose then I would have been a little upset, but I'm not. I'm just going to stick to the closer places that I have always had good luck at such as ACU, Van Dyke Spa & Chinese Spa.

Stopped by the M-1 yesterday afternoon. Mamasan knows me as I have been coming in there for years. So no 4th. Degree for me. Also, I put all 4 of my sets of car keys in my pocket, so if she tried to check my car she would not have known which one I was driving! I still find it amazing that she would do that, and my table shower was so quick she could barely have time to get the keys and get to the car.

I decided to stop in the Wyandotte Wellness since I was in the area to give it a test drive. Told her I wanted a one hour massage and was told to get undressed. A few minutes later she (didn't get her name) tells me we need to move to another room. She gathered my clothes and off to another room. Tried to do the typical moves but she said I need to do my work first. On the flip nothing happen, made the suggestion I needed help and she said we don't do that here.

Not sure what happen, may be when she picked up my coat, felt how heavy it was and thought I was LEO. My coat was heavy and may be she thought I was packing a badge. She was an older lady perhaps in her late 40, slim but nothing to write home about. Bottom line, I would not repeat. If your a first time visitor and have to drive far to this place I would think twice about visiting. The damage was .8 and I tipped her a plain doughnut.

My 2 cents on this mamasan and car issue. I have been a regular of m-1 for about 2 yrs usually I go about once a month. Over the course of the last 6 minths I think she as gotten real paranoid of uncle for whatever reasons, she went from letting me right in and taking my money with no questions asked to giving me the 3rd degree on who I am and to the point of having sugar look at me first to see if she recognizes me. I know she did it because I have a viper alarm with LCD display on my car and it reports when someone opens the door with the key instead of disarming the alarm. That was the last time I went to M-1. I won't be back. But you better believe she does this. I doubt she would take anything, as I left my wallet in the glove box and I'm sure she found it. But if she doesn't trust you, she's going thru your stuff when your in the shower. I'm sure this won't stop others from patronizing, but be aware is all I'm saying. Doesn't do any of the noobs any favors reassuring them something won't happen that certainly already has.

Thanks I was starting to doubt myself because seems like lately I am always forgetting something. But I have been thinking about this and why would someone go to the effort of breaking into my car and then the panel which is located under the drivers side steerling column was broken off and then placed underneath the sport equipment in the back on my SUV so I wouldn't spot it right away. This panel is a 12 inched by 20 inches so I would have noticed it earlier. Ofcourse I am not 100% sure she did this but I did want to report it on here just so others may be aware of it that's all. Gloria is Huntington woods (add says Royal Oak area) is the least expensive I've seen. She has a condo with a converted basement into a massage area. Shower is available before and after.
