Cameras- Are you kidding me? If I ever spotted a camera in an AMP, I would be out the door instantly. I even look the room over carefully when they leave you to undress, including behind the stupid mirror on the wall they always seem to have. Worried about being blackmailed as much as being busted. Cameras are a deal breaker... Amazed that any of these places would have them and stay in business.

There are some counties in Florida where LEO gets a court order and places hidden cameras in the Spa to later use against the therapist AND the client.

1) 2 spas on 192 by 4 corners area & 27...one is closer to the pub and what not...if you know area you know what I'm talking about but this one seems legit? When my friend does partake in AMP's, he leaves $40 or $60 fanned out on the nightstand / table in plain view after undressing and before the TS. He also said that at Sunrise in Cocoa Beach, $60 on the table from the start bought a bunch of extras every time. You probably need to trust the place a bit first before doing that, but pre-tipping does seem to make a big difference in the quality of the experience.

I see the tipping subject has come around again. Me? I never indicate any tip up front. I need to see the lie of the land first and how things are going to go. I wouldn't want the girl thinking she was on an automatic entitlement to whatever was laid out on the table. . . . I mean cash wise of course. There may be an automatic entitlement to something else laid out on the table but when she sees that, it's where the discussions normally start LOL.

Take care out there and let the head on top of your shoulders do the negotiating, NOT the other one.

Oh, and I think $40 for a HJ is more than enough. If other services are offered I may raise it a little (the tip I mean. . . . )

That's pretty funny actually because the last time I was in there it was totally legit and for only about the 3rd time in my life couldn't get a HE. I just got in to town and tried out the place on Turkey Lake (I forget the name). I got the 1 hour massage for 75. Good massage. Teasing, roaming and ending were good. I will stop there considering all the AMP bust discussion. I will say that there was no negotiation beyond, "sure" in response to "tip good"? I tipped 40, which I consider the norm for the service provided.

This prompts a question, what are the current norms here for tips? I would hate to be another tourist driving up the expectations... Some general discussion on the forum would be great. PMs with specific recommendations are of course appreciated, but not expected.

At 40 I would say you are right in lime with what's appropriate.

Really? Tipping advice? I know you're new to the board (11 posts), but read the forum. Search for tipping. There is lots of good advice. Often tipping overtakes the forum as the only topic. Summary: tip as little as you can. I usually tip 40 for a good he. Good places won't ask for tips up front. Go back and visit those places more. I swear they have no life...instead of cleaning the streets of Americana and Pinehills they go and close down these AMP.
