Posts: 306Where on Ashland? There used to be an AMP on Ashland between Augusta & Division but it got shut down. Another just south of Augusta shut down, and there was a Mexican MP called Cancun Spa that also was shut down. The AMP and Cancun were great. In fact, if you go to Street View on Google Maps you can still see Cancun on it! It's definitely closed though.

Posts: 574So I think I went to the same place but was redirected to a place on ashland. Worst experience in this hobby so far. Avoided my stuff on the table shower so I just thought I would get a decent massage. That didn't even pan out for me. I have had better massages from my cat.

Posts: 31I vouch. Went in here at 8:30 pm. Wanted an hour but only offered 30 mins because they are closing at 9 pm. In hindsight, thank goodness. I drew Alby, only one working. She's gorgeous, petite, light skinned black, possibly mix. Message was average. Went straight towards my pole after the flip. Money was never discussed. Tipped her standard rate. Quite the pleasant surprise at a place notorious for no extras! PM for details.

Place was smelly. Masseuse named Ana or Ada was a 2 on a good day. Bad massage. .40 for half hour plus another .40 for standard finish. Will not repeat.

Posts: 306You can try to point to RE prices or attempts at gentrification all you want, but that area is plagues with high gang type violence (street drug dealing, gang-related shootings, property damage that is mostly gang tags, etc). Unless you live in an extremely shitty neighborhood, you would consider that area is a dump.

That area is on the border of Manic Latin Disciple territory & Spanish Lords territory. And the most violent places in shitty, gang controlled parts of town are, the adjacent borders of two different areas "controlled" by competing gangs.

I went looking for acupuncture on Michigan Ave. After I signed in at the desk the doorman warned me, "Watch your step." I thought she meant some step on the way to the elevator, but there was no step. On the way out, she gave me the same warning, but there was no step in or out of the place either. As the doorman says, be careful out there.
(Actually, it was a doorwoman, but I have a hard time saying that. Excuse me, but I prefer to remain politically incorrect).

Posts: 151That place isn't in Humboldt Park. It's across the street from a flippin comic book store in Bucktown. IMO it's one of the better AMP places in the city.

I've lived nearby all my life and I don't even take my ass over to Humboldt park. Then again I was in a rival gang, so theres that. I believe gentrification has been slower to go past western because the puerto Rican community doesn't want their neighborhood yuppified as they put it. If that did happen at least it take care of the gang problem or at least just get it out of the area. I know the area where I grew up there was constant shootings and drivebys then slowly rents went up and people started selling their houses and condos went up and the gang in control is almost extinct. The one I was in is slowly disappearing as well, its larger but it will happen.

Sorry to laugh at you man but your report is really funny. Do you have any idea how expensive real estate is in that "shady neighborhood" with the "Hispanic gangs"?
That area has been gentrified for years!
