Methadone eases symptoms of heroin withdrawal. She was shooting up, which is what the track marks on her arms and the bruises on her legs are from. If you ask her to take off her socks, you might find fresher injection sites between her toes.

Those are fading injection scars from her previous usage. They will fade, but it's only been 2-1/2 months since she stopped riding the dragon.

I noticed the same thing with Angel, she is frustrated with the whole life style (need for drugs, sleeping on the street, boyfriend boosting, boyfriend using drugs that she bought, abandonimium). To be politically correct, I should probably say she doesn't like offering sex for money, but I really don't think that part bothers her. Most of these girls just roll with it and it doesn't seem to frustrate them. Angel seems to be handling it differently, but I don't see that she has the tenacity to make a life plan and actually do it.
