Confession: I'm a regular on another city's forum, but I'm in Atlanta a few times a year on business. I lurk here for tips when I'm in town, and I created this username just to report on my horrible experience at your OASIS SPA last week.

I was on Northside after leaving Atlantic Station when I saw the sign, and knew what kind of place it was. Just what I needed. About 2PM on a Thursday.

Korean woman met me at the door. Busted hag. Not fat, but very trail-weary, sad face, and 80's-style frizzy hair past her forehead and eyes. About 50. She wore the uniform: leopard-print tights and sandals. T-shirt.

Everything was as it should be. Twing-twang music was playing, dim lights. She took me to a room, back and to the left, with "VIP" on the door. Nicely decorated, with a hot tub in it. Big mirror on one wall."You want showah"? I gave her 60 bucks and let her see that I had plenty more in a money clip. This gal was no beauty, but I wasn't taking her to the prom. Shower time.

I knew something was wrong when she wouldn't wash my dong."You washy private". Uh-oh. She washed me the way she would scrub out a garbage can. Zero penisary contact.

Back to the room for what may be the clumsiest, most clueless attempt at a massage. Pressing with fingers up and down my back. She would stop occasionally, just to pinch my wrist for awhile. I nicely asked her what the hell she was doing, and she said,"You don't know massagy".

All the time she was fumbling, she was talking about how she needed a man, and how there's no good man in the world anymore. Yawn.

Well, I got sick of this, so flipped over and got myself ready for the main event. She said,"Why you do? Time almost up", and some other throat-cancer voice tapped on the door and barked something in Korean. I said,"Time almost up? We just got started".

She goes,"Massagy here is 45 minute. You take long time in showah".

I'm instantly pissed. I got ripped off.

I tell her to clean me off, I'm out of here. While she's hot-toweling me, I realize that the other woman in the place is at the door, watching. My hag splits, and the other hag is standing there impatient while I get dressed. I say something about 45 minutes going pretty fast, and she tells me with a humorless smile that the time starts when I pay. She's uglier and crabbier than my massage crone, and all I want to do is GTFO.

I'm back in the car smelling like flowery lotion. Blue balls. Angry. I did everything right. I'm not new at this.

This was my first AMP experience in downtown or midtown Atlanta. How is this joint still open?

I got acceptable service up on Buford Highway the next day, as expected. But Oasis on Northside was horrible.

Most of the Korean run places in Atlanta have gone down hill IMHO. Most are old pros with lots of miles and their main focus seems to be trying to stay away from your Uncle Leo. If you travel a lot like I do, try out the AMP's in NYC, San Fran, or Dallas. All have been home runs for me as of late. I was in San Fran a few weeks ago and went to a Korean run place that had 25 girls working all under 30 that I could choose from. I felt like Chris Tucker in Rush Hour 2. Now that's what I'm talking about. Even the best places in Atlanta have only 4 or 5 girls working at a time and all of them are OVER 30. We do get some good Korean escorts though. So hey not all is bad.

To clarify what Steak is saying here some more, we need to know a few things first. Is she the girl in the pictures, or somebody else? Is the whole session for only 120 or 140 bucks, or does she upsell you when she takes her top off or goes butt ass naked? As far as Steak's opinion on her wishing she'd just advertise as an escort instead of body rub with upcharges, I agree if she does upsell. She looks too good to be true to me from her pictures. That's all I can say.

The ad doesn't even try to say the pics are real, and I doubt they are.

Let's just assume for a second that it is her in the pics & the fully loaded full service price (base + extras) is $250 or $300. Let's imagine she's really good at the full service but really isn't worth shit at massage (pretty standard for hot 21 yr old blondes that are really escorts). Just my preference but I wish she'd just present herself as an escort on EROS, charge $300 / hr. And do a nice business vs. Screwing around with this whole body rub front with upcharges. Had some time to kill so stopped in at Hongs. They have a new woman named Miki, age 28 but she's chubby and nothing to look at. I asked for a strong massage and she can deliver. Pretty sure you are asking about the american girls who used to be by the fence company. As you probably know, they decided to move their operation to a new place on the other side of Canton Road. I visited the new place once or twice and noted that it had much less of a commercial feel to it and the traffic would be much more visible to the neighborhood.

I have no direct knowledge of what happened, but I suspect they lost their lease or ran into similar trouble.

I drove by a few times after they stopped answering the phones and saw them moving out using a pickup truck, girls coming down the stairs with the few personal items they kept in the rooms. I don't think they will be back at this location, and based on how long it took them to get in there after leaving the fence place, I think they are basically done.

More information may be available from those who are familiar with their 'sister' operation in the Midtown area. But I have never visited there.

It's one of the main places that the massage girls go to in order to send money back to China and get their Chinese beauty products so you will see them there. Every Friday night is movie night with a martial arts movie. Lots of other events go on there too. Don't miss the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival this weekend!

To add to that, a lot of the massage places advertise looking for girls there. They have a couple board where people post classifieds. I have seen a lot of ladies that look familiar when I go there.
