I understand that money in exchange for sex is illegal in Michigan. My question is regarding Massages. If you show up for massage / body rub how is that illegal? Paying for massages is not actually illegal so how is it considered illegal (at least for the person receiving)? I will say in the short time I have been here I have gotten some priceless tips. I didn't know about Googling phone #'s or image searches (or what to make of this info). I was unsure what to look for in ads and have picked up some tips on how to handle encounters such as checking the room, and dealing with donations, etc.

FWIW: I hope to be able to submit reviews as I see more women but for now I also need some coaching to get me to that point.

Don't let the haters get your goat. The mods won't weigh in on this unless the thread really gets derailed by some kind of drama. This is exactly where you should be posting your questions when they relate to BP advertisers. SW questions belong in the SW thread, and so on. If this forum maintained the kind of strict content purity that some seem to want, and it consisted of nothing more than a daily report of who stuck what into whom for how much $$, I would never have stayed around long enough to become a senior member.

Members in other forum locales have done a lot more with the flexibility of the site model than we have here in Michigan. If you really want to start a separate thread for non-review material, you can do that. It seems like the mongers around here are just more casual about blending the reporting and the discussion.

In my recent reading I did find some posts regarding donations but I was looking for a little more insight.

The debate I was reading about (I think its in the Homework thread) was whether to pay in advance or after service were rendered. I always thought that it was cash up front and this is how I conducted business in my very limited experience. So is paying after a new trend. Is this something SP's are OK with?

My other question is how to handle the initial discussion with a new SP. When you first come into the room who makes the first move or brings up business first. Is it customary for me to just pull out the cash and set it down or do I wait for a cue from the SP?

How / when do we discuss services / menu / rules? I have also seen posts saying get the details before and after money is laid out. This kind of ties in with the question above. Who blinks first? If I don't lay out the money I would think SP is going to be reluctant to discuss services and if she is not willing to talk menu first then do I want to lay out money?

I acknowledge that if its a sting LE will likely "take me down" regardless but I still want to be cautious and develop my routine and stick with it until I become comfortable with the donation process. Or is it just always an anxious moment no matter what when you're with a new acquaintance?

Good point MS, and also keep in mind that you are not only dealing with that provider, but the people she lives with and her SO. We both became friends with a case in point. On her own, in my opinion she was honest and she always tried to protect me from the people she lived with. But get her around them and she turned into someone else. Alot have bfs, think about it, the girls can make $ selling themselves, but how do their bfs make money, stealing and scamming people for money. It is a chance to meet someone, see what they really look like, see what their personality is like.

I have had many be very open which makes me feel good, like yeah I have a guy that lives with me but he will take a walk or he will be at work.

Under no circumstances can this (or any other) provider 'truly be trusted'. Think about what you are asking yourself there. I know it's probably just a figure of speech, but if you are wondering how you can judge trustworthiness of someone you've never met, using only their ad on BackPage, you are asking the wrong questions.

The successful senior mongers here, the guys with all the great stories and the phonebook full of providers, are the guys who accept this simple fact: these women will suck dick for a dollar (or 10, 50, 100, whatever). If they are ok with this arrangement, chances are good they are ok with a whole lotta shit you never want to know about.
