After mulling it over for so long, finally took the leap in to mongerism (and with some advice from very helpful senior members). I cruised around Lowell in the late PM's. Saw a tall brunette who gave me some looks on the corner of Appleton and Gorham, but didn't want to chance a pickup. So, onward I cruised. Too funny. Poor guy had no chance with the cops watching him. Speaking of being too obvious, I was on Westford st. On errand and saw a car in front of me slowing down and pulling over. This happened several times. The object of the driver was a red head wearing a white hat. I drove by and took a quick look. She looked to be almost 50 and not very good looking (I might be wrong). Anyway, the driver was an idiot because it was so obvious as to what he was doing. LE would have scooped him up in seconds. FYI not sure if the red head was working.
