In the early 2000s, the Latin Palace management tipped me off to the Spanish-only side of the business (30 for 10 minutes) , so I was going to the apartments that had rooms subdivided by hanging sheets. Two girls could use one room and run through 10 guys an hour. This was an assembly line, and those sheets were probably used 40 times a day.

Before anyone looks down his nose, if you used to pay $ at the Latin Palace (or DC Latina) , I saw the same girls you did for 70% less. While they'd move the better ones to the more expensive apt, some of them either started in the rabbit houses, or rotated back if they were shorthanded.

I used to bring a pack with a flat sheet, soap, and a towel, so I didn't pick up scabies, lice, or bedbugs, or roll around in another guy's pubic hair or sweat. The girls thought it was odd, but some of them liked the cleanliness. When I was done, I'd pack the sheet, tip the girl a 5 or 10, then bring my stuff into the bathroom to shower before dressing. In 3 years of slumming, I never had so much as an itch.

Every so often, I'd tip the doorman a 5 and thank him for taking care of me. I'm sure I was the only customer who ever tipped anyone, and my good rep always got me good service.

I visited an independent massage therapist yesterday. K-lady in her 30's, a bit on the thick side, but still ok, not bad looking. She's an independent therapists with a comfortable and clean massage studio in her apartment in Tyson's, safe area with ample parking.

Got about 30 mins of a very good massage, then the flip for 25 minutes dedicated to the NOVA therapy. She builds up to the NoVa very slowly, and deliberately keeps you on the edge for a while which ultimately produces a very powerful stress release. Wow, haven't felt such a strong release of stress with any other therapist. It has to do with all the time she takes to build up the tension, literally half the time is dedicated to the NoVa therapy. $1. 2 / hr, no tipping needed. Only negative is that I was in and out in a little under the hour, but I would repeat!

Hey, BB, I also have had problems searching these forums for phone numbers and what not. A lot of times our host edits the phone number to leave out digits but I'm not exactly sure why he does that. However, you obviously had no problems, did you search on the phone number or something else? I also don't think the searches go very far backwards in time. 2 years is amazing!

I had the same experience with a Thai 30s lady in NOVA 6 months ago. I can't find her ad anymore. She has her private place in a town house. Charged 120hr for massage. Massage is good. On the flip, she didn't give any extra. I asked her politely for a DIY with her helping. I told her a professional massage is just 60hr, but 120hr there must be more. She told me to respect her (I just asked her if there is any extra, no touching at all) , walked out and left me alone in the room. The thing made me angry is at the end she asked me for tip when I was about leaving. I said no, and she yelled and cursed something in Thai. Total rip-off.

Somehow, the stories of being pushed / tricked into self-service are always the funniest. You tipped yourself pretty generously for what seems like a quick Nova; was there at least any roaming? :-D

Went to Pine today. 80/40.

Average table shower. Massage very poor quality with a quick back rub, fingertip roll and then flip. Slightly above average NoVA. Tried to rush through but I slowed her down. Kept asking how much I was going to tip. Did not allow roaming for what I was willing to put out. About 15 minutes into massage left for 5 minutes and apologized for leaving. Provider 'Kim" 30ish, flat As.

Had me out in and out in about 40 minutes.

So lets see, weak TS, crappy non existent massage and ok tug. And I'm out 1.20. I told her she short changed me on the massage. She said sorry, place was busy, holidays, etc. Perhaps next time.

BS, from the looks of it, I was the only one there. For me, there will be no next time.

I have seen better reports for this place but recommend avoiding this joint. Or choose another provider, not that I had an opportunity.

So I've been on a roll, and had been getting good therapy every time recently, so I decided to push my luck and try this new thai therapist in Arlington. She just opened her studio this week. Researched her phone, no reviews, only previous ads from Maryland, and a couple 1-2 year old ads that suggested I might get the NoVa therapy I needed. Drove to the place, walked in and met a very attractive Thai CMT. Late 30's, medium build, good looking lady. She had me fill out a medical history form, then led me to the massage room and was asked to get ready and keep my underwear on. Got an average, combination Thai massage. Massage was just OK. At the end I asked for a therapeutic technique I needed to relieve some stress I still had, but that technique is not available. Total damage 0. 8 / hr, and 0. 1 tip. I won't repeat, I left still stressed.

Been a while since I've posted. Staying away from the K joins lately as they're to much and visited some places that give stretching massages. Really nice and most are pretty (seniors PM).

Side not though, visited a local C place that I used to be a regular at. Weird is all I can saw. Owner pretneded not to remember me. In fact denied knowing me. I didn't push the issue as my spider sense was off the charts. As I was already there and didn't have time to get out but I probably should have done a U turn I decided on 30 min. Provider arrived, standard massage. Was wondering about a finish, or if I could gather intel. She wouldn't provide a finish but gave me oil and told me to do it myself while she watched. Pretty strange. Asked if there had been trouble and she wouldn't answer. The entire time there were other customers arriving. Upon leaving I did a quick search and didn't find any postings for this parlor / spa so my guess is she's spooked by something. So I have been avoiding K spots and hit up a C spot but the grass isn't greener on the other side. Watch yourselves.

Hit up a herndon spot. New age spa or something. There are two right next to each other in this business park. This used to be my go to place long time ago. Lady was a bit older but nice smile and kind of cute in her own way. Great, great TS. Everything thing washed. Massage was hard and thorough. Flip was nonrushed massage and explosive. She is a short lady about 5 or 5. 1 feet. I do not get names from providers. Would I go again. In a pinch but not my first start. There was another girl there who sounded cute in the hallway. Someone can report on that one.

There are 2 spas (VIP spa and silver rain) across the 7eleven. I checked them out twice. But K-ladies are 50s with below average look.

Jin gave me 2 massages. Excellent massage. I tried, actually begged for DIY few times, but she smiled and said No. She did the chest massage, it turned my Junior on so much and she stopped there. Don't tease me and leave the job unfinished. I may try the third time there, just for a good massage.

Just a quick response to make sure nobody gets the wrong idea. Jin massages the front of the body thoroughly but, IMHO, there's no intent to tease. Of course, if you go in there hoping for extras, then some of her massage moves may come across as a tease.

I've had some frustrating tease experiences at other places, usually Russian joints, where the masseuse brushes junior and the boys quite a bit but then acts surprised when something more is expected. There's absolutely none of that with Jin, just a strong, thorough, professional massage.

And it's not for lack of asking, because like you I've asked several times. But I finally decided to accept it for what it is and enjoy a great massage.

The spa you're talking about is across the street from the 7-11 and is right next door to the post office. Jin is the owner and gives one of the best massages I've ever experienced, bar none. But, whether you go there a 3rd time, or a 30th or a 300th, the only thing you'll get is a great massage.

One indication it's legit is that there's no locking doors anywhere, not even the front door. In the typical AMP that's talked about here, there's almost always a two-step entry process and the MMS escorts you to the room and makes sure you don't run into any other clients. Jin's waiting room is wide open and there is often someone arriving or leaving. And a fair amount of her clients are women, another pretty sure sign of legit-ness, since most women have a well-developed radar when it comes to HE joints.

Jin sometimes has another therapist (usually Jenny or YuYu) but I've seen how strictly she controls everything so I wouldn't hold out any hopes that they might be tempted to stray. The ceilings are all open and there are only curtain closures for the massage cubicles. Jin would be able to hear very easily if anything was going on and the offending therapist would be gone in a flash.

But two thumbs up if you're looking for a deep (and I mean really deep!) massage at 80 / hr and 100/90 minutes.

Now, if you want the standard AMP experience on Gallows Road, check out the spas in the office complex behind the 7-11. Those have been hit or miss, in my experience, but you might catch them on a good day.

I am not from the area. I visited the Chinese AMP on the Gallows Road twice in 6 months. This place is next the 7eleven, on the second floor. The first floor is a beauty salon. There are 2 C-ladies, late 30s and 20s. I didn't have any HE or DIY with the late 30s lady at this place. I usually pass places without HE, but this place is special. The massage is so good, especially facial massage. I still want to try the third time. I guess maybe because I only visit them 2 times. Please pm me or let me know if you have more luck. I will visit NOVA this weekend. I used to know the Thai place (200hr) and shared the Thai place with some of you here. One of the 20s Thai girl name is Sasha. I lost their numbers. So I was in need of therapy, so I looked at the ads on the usual sites. Came across a discreet ad I hadn't see before, they do facials and waxing too. I called and set up an appointment, but as soon as I hung up the phone regret set in, because I really was stressed out, and I knew I was taking a gamble by visiting this place. Anyway, it turned out to be very nice therapy, and just what my body needed. Cozy little spa between a salon and a nails place, small but still very comfortable. Nice little space, very homely vibe. And Pretty lady is an acceptable description, Thai, around 40, but a lot more fit, and younger looking than the average 55+yr old Korean granny. Pics could be her, but I'd say 15 years ago. I enjoyed the massage quiet a bit, above average massage, great work on my legs which were very sore. My session actually went over the hour, I was in a out in 1hr and 10 mins. Standard rates. I left satisfied and stress free, would repeat. TakingOFTT paid off. The more Chinese and Thai spas I visit, the more I lose interest in K-spas. I'll see if I can find a Viet spa next.

Feels like I'm doing a lot of leg work lately. I seem to like the thrill of trying new therapists.
