Has this happened to any of you?

You pull up to the curb to talk to a streetwalker, chat for a little bit, she jumps in your car, and a cop sees you picking her up as you drive away with her.

What would happen? Would the cop follow? Would the cop stop you? Is it illegal?

Well first of all you need to check out your surroundings and make sure when you pull over nobody else is behind you or infront of you. You know drive around a couple of times just to be sure. But if a cop does see a possible SW get in your car maybe drive around the block once and drop her off. If he pulls you over before you can drop her off, well not sure what happens then.

Was thinking LE, but I never seen one on that side of the street. They are usually across the street so that they could hit them with the maximum damage for the deed.

Here are two points that downtown mongers might want to keep in mind. First, in the past there have been LE "sting" operations on both sides of Aala Street. Second, LE sting operations on either side of Aala Street, and also on a portion of North Kukui Street, can easily be located within 750 feet of a boundary of Beretania Community Park, which increases the offense to a full misdemeanor. (Just providing some information, not trying to discourage anyone from enjoying that area.)

Pretty sure those have always been just TS. Lived around the area for a few years and only saw a girl once. Haven't driven by at night in a long time, but I wouldn't get my hopes up in that area.
