Now to ure question, It is not uncommon for a provider to refer you to another provider but thats all that should be done is a referal and not the whole rate thing and so on. When I am busy and I can't see someone for a dream at that time then I will refer them to my partner that I work with but only because she has great reviews and I know how she works and also because she has somewhat the same build. How ever I do know some other providers but do not refer to them because I don't know how they work or they may have bad reviews in which case would never recommend. So it is a case that will vary on the provider and on who you are willing to see and if you want to do the search too.
