I pretty sure I know the location of this shoot as I live very close by. I'm curious how you pulled this off without attracting a huge crowd? Also these are the best photos I've seen of Nyx yet.
Thanks for sharing.

I am not a FS guy but was browsing here and wondered if anyone noticed that these are three different people in these pics.

Posts: 2643I just figured out why my last couple of shoots (Nyx and Freya) looked a bit off. They were both done in Adobe RGB instead of sRGB. Internet browsers (and most monitors) can't handle the larger color gamut of Adobe RGB, so they alter the out of gamut colors to fit in their color space, which can cause some issues. I had forgotten that I had switched photoshop to Adobe RGB for a non-escort client that needed prints made, and I forgot to switch back to sRGB. Sorry about that, I'll be sure to keep an eye on it in the future.

Hooked up with Nyx today for a quick photo shoot. I would have preferred to wait until later in the day so the sun was in a better position, but she had other things to do later. So I made the best of the situation.

Thanks for the info, I was away. There is a lot of that going on, the $300 fee for quality!
Everytime, I go cheap, there is a problem or a lie of some sort.
I was in FL and had one for $100, in a sweaty room with out A / C. Pretty lady but no emotion and pushed me out at 1/2 hour.
I've had ladies here in the Boston area from $120 to $200 and its like a crap shoot.
Any ideas? I'm back and ready for mongering! After FL, looking for Latina, yeah, thanks, PS.
PM is good too.

Posts: 2643Of course that technique would defeat the purpose of shooting on a beach with the Boston skyline across the water. I have used that before in the studio when shooting against a black backdrop, just never tried it with any shoots for escorts before. Usually they prefer brighter images.

Simple trick here, before you take a shot and it could be done any place, any time and under any lighting condition. Camera on manual, set controls to under expose the image (total darkness, when you review image, you see nothing but black). Off camera, set flash to manual, and adjust power for proper exposure of your subject an shoot away. The flash exposes your subject and your background comes black. Move flash back and adjust power, you expose more of your background, move it closer and you expose less. This can be applied to as many flashes as you want. So, if you know what settings to use to blackout background and you understand how to set power on flash based on distance from subject (in manual mode is always constant) , it takes a minute to snap a few shots and you are done. The beauty of this method makes it possible to photograph your model any place and any time and not care what is behind her. It could be in a dark alley next to a trash dumpster it will not matter. With proper flash power setting and distance from subject, you can eliminate the surroundings from your image.
Try it. It is so much fun
Cheers.

Posts: 2643In hind sight, I probably should have switched to aperture priority mode instead of manual, underexposed by a stop or two, and over exposed on the flash. A lot of times these outdoor shoots I do are in fairly public areas, so we need to work quickly, and I can't really bring everything I'd like to use. For example, this last shoot was done with just my on camera speedlite, and start to finish was about 15 to 20 minutes. I often wish I had the freedom to do it properly with off camera lighting, softboxes, scrims, and reflectors. But carrying and setting up all of that equipment tends to attract unwanted attention. Even just an assistant to hold a reflector would have greatly improved things, but I don't always have such luxuries. Just a brief glimpse into the trials and tribulations of guerrilla shooting for my fellow mongers out there.

Per our contract she has to approve any image before it is released, so I'll have to decline your offer. Can't risk upsetting the client you know. But I'm certainly interested in hearing any advice you may have, you can never learn too much.

Apparently this girl is not latin at all and is actually African American.
This is what the review said on the erotic review.
Now that would be maddening, a completely different race.
Buyer beware, she advertises on Boston Eros relentlessly.

The changing in light can be a big challenge if you are shooting with natural light or with both natural / flash lighting. She is a beautiful model and I would love to help you by showing you a method of lighting where you are in control no matter what the lighting condition is. If your model is not shy and is willing to have two men photographing her, let me know and we can try to set something up
Cheers.

Here's a couple more shots of Freya. I still have 4 to 6 more to do, but they'll have to wait till tomorrow.

Had another new shoot with Freya today, she wasn't really happy with the last one as she still had some baby weight to lose. But as you can see, she's slowly dropping those extra pounds she gained during the pregnancy.
Between the clouds moving, and the sun setting, my light was constantly changing. So I screwed up the exposure on this shot a bit, but I liked her pose. More to follow soon.
Stay safe, and happy hunting.
