Needham place on Oak St closed a few days ago.

Having visited Oak the morning of their second day, I had been greeted warmly by the Mama Mia and the staff. Mia told me they were affiliated with 409 near South Shore Plaza, so given BH's sad news, it might be that I'd avoid that place for awhile too.

I went to Oak twice during its short run. It had promise, but I noticed the CL ad stopped running on the 12th, and said uh-oh. If I was going to open a R+T type of Spa, Needham would be the absolute last place I'd try it; this one lasted less than 2 weeks, which is some kind of record. Even the short-lived little places on Rt 1 in North Attleboro and 1A in Plainville (the latter of which had a view of the Police Department sign, about 200 yards away. WTF?) lasted longer.

Oak seemed like too residential a spot. There also looked like there was some kind of playground, like a day care or something, next door. There was a daycare next to the dear departed Hunnewell St AMP in Needham, too. Sounds like the R+T industry needs a better advance location scout.

She might take less .80 to start, didn't have exact change, so didn't give 70.

80 is a little steep. You could probably for 100 total get that at a legit AMP + legit massage 60 minute as well.

But this an apartment scenario so standard Asian fee is over 2 bills, anywhere really.

Did a recon mission on #82. Amy had been recommended. About 35 and OK. Maybe a 6. 5. Other girl is cuter. Funny name like Nikthus or something I don't remember. She is a 7. 5 and probably similar age. Hard to tell with Asians. This place used to have 2 older unattractive AMPs so it has turned over in a good way. Very close to my old "Hollis Street" (name is a color) establishment.

The second ladies don't last long, so it may be that there isn't enough business to sustain two of them full-time, or maybe Anna (the main masseuse) bags them doing something she doesn't like, and tells them to move on. Anna was educated as an accountant in China, and does seem to be running a legit place; she even had her daughter on the premises (just to keep an eye on her) during a college break over the winter. I'd be surprised if a concerned parent would bring a nineteen year old into a jack shack as a means of keeping her out of trouble.

Last time in, I did see a familiar, bespectacled face, ex-of 329 in Needham, who, like Anna, give a very solid massage. Her schtick is to tease the beejezus out of you (without actually touching Junior) towards the end of the hour, then to announce: "Time is up, and do you want another thirty?" During the thirty she may offer DIY. I had her on my most recent visit, but I passed on the upsell, having seen it before. She's probably a bit hotter than Anna, but unless DIY is your thing (or you are better at coercing her to overstep her usual limits) I'd say that this place is legit, or legit plus DIY from whoever's visiting that week. YMMV.

I think we are talking about the same person, same thing happened to me regarding the up sell of time, but sadly I was out of time. DIY is not my thing anyway. Too bad because she was a cutie!
