Let's just note the damage done by the flip side of paranoia: if you're a hobbyist, you do have someone following you. Not you, personally, but you as a class. And as such if you don't know the law, don't know what you're facing, and aren't prepared to face it you've got no business in the hobby. You've committed a Class A misdemeanor. In Marion county it's an automatic diversion program for first offenders. The only thing you accomplish by surrendering accounts is putting six more people in the same situation for the same "crime".

Several hobbyists busted by Kandi when contacting her on aNotherReview site. The hobbyists that gave her reviews are suspect to have given their I'd to LE. Be careful. Also ZippyZoey profile on the same site is now with LE. Do not see her from that profile.

At this time still not sure about Sexy by Raven escort site. Will advise when more is known.

This is precisely the problem. We perpetuate these legal fictions. And why? In order to complain about some young provider's over-zealous verification process. Which then encourages more hobbyists to balk at reasonable security requests. Which makes providers less secure and more paranoid. And confuses everyone about the law.

There's no such thing as a Get Out of Jail Free Card, except as a lie told by officers to convince scared newbies to offer up something of value they might have. And in exchange the newbie gets precisely the deal she'd have gotten otherwise, precisely the deal the law prescribes: a diversion program. Even supposing the provider is a three-time loser (and thus should know better in the first place) , she can't turn you in as a misdemeanor offender. A misdemeanor has to be witnessed by the police. If she's been popped they can confiscate her phone anyway. Maybe she could get some deal if you happen to head a drug cartel, or you're running for Mayor, but under the circumstances I think you'd probably be a little more circumspect about casual acquaintances. And if that's what they were after the absence of a scan of your DL wouldn't exactly stymie them.

The proper response, if you don't like someone's verification procedure, is not to see her. Under the circumstances-the woman is reportedly legit, based on reviews-someone might go to the trouble of explaining to her that her practice is misguided on a couple of fronts, that it takes a trained eye to verify a DL in person, and that a texted copy would be worthless even if police couldn't produce and use genuine fakes as needed.

I call it taking caution when advised to take caution. So I will announce again the need to take caution, straight across the board-escorts, SW and AMP, fake profiles, etc. I don't have the answer, just the warning to my fellow hobbyists, USE CAUTION, uncle leo is not playing very nice lately.
