I was towed a month ago when I went there. Some parking spots out back are posted 1/2 hour and some further back in the lot are posted as you will be towed without sticker. Normally I would be sympathetic, even for a cop. (I don't bother them, they don't bother me)

However, According to what the globe is saying, this may be the same cop who has been reported to pick up girls, get his rocks off, then kick the girl to the curb without paying, threatening to arrest them.

Clear abuse of power and deserving of punishment. Every man has their needs, but we're not opposed to paying to have those needs met. This guy's just an asshole with a badge.

I think it's Lynn PD that doesn't play the game. There was a state trooper who was busted in Lynn a few years ago, of course he did try to run when they caught him with a girl.

XXXXXXXX, a detective in South Boston, is expected to be placed on administrative leave with pay following his arrest early today, said Boston Police spokeswoman.

XXXXX has been with the department since 1989, and last year earned $151, 036, according to city payroll records.

A Lynn Police spokesman was not immediately available to provide further details of the sting.
