I went to Bog Arts. $5 cover and $6. 50 drink. After I drained the glass I learned I should have left some, since customers are required to have drinks, not empty glasses. I was not in the mood to buy another overpriced drink while waiting for dancers to show up.

Club Venus had a cover charge notice, but nobody at the door to collect it. Plenty of dancers there. Hamilton for just a dance, Jackson for a good dance (HJ). After I picked good, I had plenty of money left to think of MSOG, but the next dancer's technique was more pull than stroke. Eventually I stopped to keep it attached.

That was probably my last club trip. Rising fuel prices make future trips unlikely. Phone calls are cheaper than long drives.

Went to Pantheon recently. Door girl said she couldn't let me in if I didn't give her my coat. WTF? I got all my gear in there: phone, covers, paper towels, etc. I'm supposed to stuff my pants pockets with all those things on my way into the club? I ended up taking a refund for my door charge, and moving on down the road. Stupid business practice. If they're worried about guns and knives, a quick pat down will do the trick.

Yes, it is so you don't bring weapons in. I carry the same things you do, but in my pockets. Cell phone, covers, paper towels.

That seems to be the consensus. Service can be had, but only at a ridiculous premium.

No, there are curtains. Went a month or two ago on a Tues around lunch time. 2 other patrons. 3 dancers. Best of the bunch was Sparkle. Blondish, cute, some tats, nice body. When you get close you see some stretchies and boob deflation. Not a great attitude, rushed a little but not bad. Other two were around 5 to 6, just not my type. In same situation would go to the back with Sparkle again.

It used to be called Hot Tamales, but the sign just says "HT's" now. It's between Coolidge & Meyers off of 8 mile. Pretty much all black dancers if that's what you're into. There are not a lot of places to park & you may end up having to park on the side streets. There are definitely better clubs and the layout of the place hasn't changed in over 10yrs (probably longer). It's kind of a hole in the wall type of joint, but I don't mind.

I'm a lurker on the boards but have been heeding the advice here for a few years now. I hit up La Chambre a few months back and a few of the girls were very upfront in the evenings. One of them saw me go back with a seasoned white brunette dancer who I was becoming a regular with (we did BBJCIM every time I came in) , but I can't remember her name. She's definitely in her mid 30's with college / young kids, but haven't seen her in a while. The drinks are insanely overpriced, but what I usually do is come in with a few shot bottles hidden in my coat, LOL. I order a few drinks, but they last a VERY long time. Even if the bouncers do pat me down (FYI, they pat me down if I'm wearing fleece jogging pants and a hoodie, but when I show up in khaki's and a long sleeve shirt it's all good) they wave me through. Got to love the mentality of the bouncers there!) I've had many offers there, but the prices they quoted were outrageous (and their bodies were a 6 or less except for a select few). I still go for the scenery at times, but lately I've ended up at HT's on 8 Mile at the end of the night admiring the talent. Everything is out in the open, but I've had a hell of a lot fun with the $10 dances. If you just want lap dances with decent beer (for strip club prices) drinks, that's where I hang out. I'm thinking of heading over to Dearborn or some other clubs based based on the member reviews here. I only go when I know I have an entire night and the next morning free. I do what I can based on my family obligations (which I know some of you understand).
