Then I stand corrected then on the stance that "nobody who has lived here for a while would call it that". I've lived here 15+ yrs and never heard the term used, but I fully understand what you're saying when people confusingly refer to anything north of the beltline, like Crabtree or North Hills area for example, as "North Raleigh". I think a lot of folks who have lived here for a while almost forget the North Hills area exists until we have a specific reason to be in the area, even though it's alive and well and seems to attract folks new to the area more than long-timers.

Anyway my prior comment was really to the poster who seemed to feel the use of "midtown" in a BP ad would be a sign of a scam. I actually think the opposite is true especially when the phone area code is non-local. Someone new to that area, even if they landed there somewhat randomly, could look at where they are on their smartphone maps and easily label their location as midtown if they were used to doing same in other cities.

When they tore down the old North Hills Mall and Kane rebuilt the area, his advertising and marketing people started calling the area "Midtown." It actually makes a LOT more sense than calling the area "North Raleigh." It was "North Raleigh" 30 years ago but for people who have come here in the last 15 years, it doesn't make much sense considering you drive another 15 minutes north to get to 540 and the true 2013 "North Raleigh."

The N&O has a "Midtown Raleigh News" section, there is a restaurant N. Hills Mall called Midtowne Grill, etc.

It's no Midtown Atlanta, but it is what we got. And it would not surprise me that visiting dream girls would use the term if they were staying at a motel in "Midtown" of which there are many, especially over near DukeRaleigh Hosp.

So sorry you had to experience such aggravation in this "land of the free," Jumpman2010. As a foreigner, I am simply stunned that American men continue to put up with this crap in their own country-and yes, I am affected by it during the time I spend here. It seems that the other half of the population essentially dominates us men completely when it comes to this. Doesn't that make you guys mad at all? I mean, what does it take to vote out of the office all politicians who refuse to fully legalize the hobby? Sorry for the rant but I grew up with John Wayne and all these other larger-than-life American movie heroes-watch John Ford's "Stagecoach" (made in 1939!) to see what I mean specifically about our topic here.

Anyway, here is some info on a recent dream: Ms. Passion, advertises on BP almost daily. Pics are real, body is indeed fabulously slender-athletic if you like model-shaped AA girls like I do. Experience good though not great (does not like missionary, not shaved though I realize some of us like that) , but trying to accommodate, fair enough for the HH payment. Downside: pimp hanging around in incall location hallway, and she even mentioned her "homeboy" in conversation. BTW, these guys are of course an almost necessary by-product of the criminalization, as we all know.

I agree nobody who has lived in this area for a while would say "Midtown". But wouldn't that be a huge indicator that its NOT local LEO or scam and more likely an out of towner that's correctly aligned with her non-local area code? That would be a good thing, not bad, why look elsewhere? Don't mean to be snarky, I'm just saying let's think stuff through before posting.

She was really a pick of convenience, was a bit pricy but nearby. Can't find any reviews, but no hits on tineye. Was a little leery that she might be leo when she canceled, but when I first contacted her it was 2 days after her last ad and she was (allegedly, clearly not actually) offering in or outcall.

I saw Brittany when she used to be Katie and again when she became Brittany. Maddox is correct. I use the GV app for the iPhone and do not have calls forwarded to my primary phone by default. You can select DND (do not disturb) and all calls go to vm even if you have calls forwarded to your primary phone. Texting works just as well as the phone call feature. Perfect if you are trying to connect with someone like Genny, who is always texting and not using email. I use GV anytime to make "non-standard" calls or texts and when finished either login to the GV website or delete the calls including history using the app. One note, if you use the app and delete the call history, you should still login to GV on the web and delete items in trash if you want all activity to be completely transparent. You got to love technology for this hobby.

This post has arguably the most valuable information which I've ever seen on this board. I've been doing this exact same thing since GV came out for my phone years ago. GREAT advice.
