I was out on W / W around 8:45p and saw two LEOs detaining a SW on the circle. The strange thing is that they were in a 2004 4 door white cavalier. Down the way on wilkens in between millington and brunswick, I saw 2 LEOs on foot. Lately, I've seen a lot of LEO walking a beat old school style twirling their clubs. I might have to take a break from this hobby for a while. Too many LEOs, not enough SW. At one point tonight, I saw LE on every other side street. I hate to say it, but I think they are winning the war right now.

Oh, and watch out for the transformer. I saw "her" get picked up today by some unsuspecting John. No disrespect if that's your thing, but I think "she" should be honest and just let "her" Johns know what's up.

The BCPD has a new commissioner. Every new commissioner, at the start of his job, makes a big show of putting foot patrols on the street. Frazier did it, Norris did it, Clark did it an the last guy did some as well; I don't think Daniels was around long enough to try it but given a few more weeks, he would have likely tried it as well.

They don't have the budget or manpower to do so more than occasionally. There will be a slight downturn in crime or a slightly greater number of arrests during that period and eventually things will get back to normal or a new normal. They can't afford it monetarily and especially can't afford to pull officers from other duties to keep it up. One of the first things a new commish does and a strategy like this does is to make a visible dent in visible crime. After that, they really have to get back to less show type policing and back to the grind of every day policing and patrolling due to staffing and other issues.

It does a good job in the short term and makes many residents feel safer or more comfortable. It also pushes crime from one place to another so keep you eye out for the places near your stomping grounds. You may be able to snag what you want.

In the aftermath of a first round "TKO" with "the Ex" and as I beat an "haste retreat" out of town, I saw a redhead (mid to late 20's) on WW.

To the best of my recollection, I think her name was Crystal. Does anyone have any intel on this one?

Yes this would be her. Such a shame, I have some photo's of her from years back where she is incredible. Amazing what this life does to them.

She is going downhill fast. Her face is swollen with a red rash. And she's resorting to cash and dash. I dropped her off so she could get her meds, she turned off her phone and never came back.

This has got to be the same chick I saw hangin on the corner of Balto & Commerce just up from the Hustler club when I last visited your fair city back in Oct. I remember parking on the east side of Commerce and lingering in my car just to scope her out for a few minutes while she lallygagged with various other hustlers and passers-by. About an hour later, as I was walking along Balto toward the 7-Eleven, I noticed her walking toward me and, sure 'nuf, she approaches and asks if I'd be interested in company (guess I look innocent enough) , to which I replied words to the effect that anything's possible. So she accompanies me into the 7-Eleven while we make idle chat, I buy her a cuppa, and observe her interaction with various nefarious individuals with whom she's obviously acquainted from the streets. Back outside I ask her what the deal is and she quotes $8 (discounted from $10 cause it's chilly out) to join me at my nearby telly. I say I'll take her number and, surprisingly, she provides one and tells me to label it "Jen". Or could she have said "Jess"? Anyhow, I have her number in my fone if anyone wants to compare notes. Would have dated her had I not overextended myself a bit in the Red Room. I recall her as friendly, professional and non-aggressive (I. E, not strung-out) , not exactly the stereotype of a street girl. I'd have more expected to find her in the Midway bar than on a corner. Glad to hear her service is up to par, for a white girl off the Block (LOL). Will try to sample when next I return to your fair city.

That's Ripoff Jen. I posted on her in Rip off thread here. The nefarious chaps you saw her talking to are complicit with her scam. Try the number she gave you. It doesn't work, I'd bet. Be real careful with this one.

Go back around page ten and look at the pictures from night timer and see if that is the Ranee you are talking about. She looks a little different in the face now because she has gained weight. You should still be able to make her out though. She is out and about but doesn't like to hit the streets. She would rather use her phone.

I believe we've been compromised. A lot of talk on the streets recently. There are some disgruntled lady addicts and their jealous boyfriend / pimps.

I heard that some of the more desperate giving up real names. Some are giving out our handles from the site, because the LEOs are on them hard right now.

Too much nonchalant mentions of this board. I hope the game didn't just get dangerous. Watch your 6, 9.12, & 3 gentlemen and tell some of these youngins to be quiet please.

Today I received a PM warning me about a forum member seeking the identity of other members. I have no reason to believe that this warning is unfounded, but I did not receive such a query myself, so I am not certain of it (but nonetheless grateful for the heads up). I can think of a number of reasons why someone would seek the identities of posters here, all of which are nefarious and have potential legal implications.

I urge members here to post -- not just PM -- an alert to anyone's efforts to seek the identity of any other member, whether you happen to like them or not. There should be no question that this board is being monitored by LE, and that seizing upon rancor among some members through PMs is an obvious strategy to gain confidence and acquire information. Don't fall for it.
