Sadly LE is on CL too, not just putting up ads but answering ads people put up as well. Last year I almost got pinched but luckily I didn't talk about cash or services and walked out. This chick answers my ad I put in CL casual encounters, After some texts, I go to her place which is a weekly motel. Everything seemed ok I. E. Clothes are there and it looks lived in and I'm looking around making sure all the doors are open. So I see this one closet door right next to the bed. I ask her if I can look in there and she starts to give me some be. S. About its locked by management and she can't even open it herself. So I go over there and turn the handle, it turns so its not locked and I pull and it starts to open, then I feel someone on the other end pulling back as to keep me from opening it. I then tell her I don't feel comfortable and leave. She texts me while I'm driving away calling me a pu$$why trying to provoke me to come back. I'm pretty sure it was LE because if it was someone trying to rob me they would have popped out already. I'm thinking they were waiting for the verbal exchange between me and this confidential informant (cause she sure wasnt an undercover) And they are getting bolder too. A friend of mine has a roomate that got busted up in KY. He answered an ad on CL about a woman wanting to party, basically bring her some drugs and they would have sex. She gives him money for the drugs when he gets there and once the drugs and money changed hands, a cop pops out of the closet and arrests him. They had video cameras set up at different angles recording the whole thing apparently. Shits getting crazy and can only get worse.

Not that it matters, but based on what you described it seems more plausible that it was a GF, pimp, another hooker, or maybe even a kid. Or maybe it was another paying customer that got his kicks off voyeurism. I'd don't think LE would be in the same room when they could just as easily get adjoining rooms with listening devices. Not because of fear of danger to the undercover as much as fear of blowing the chance for a pinch. But that is all conjecture, you took the best course of action you could take and that was to get the hell out of there.

I have read some news reports about using the CE posting for drug busts. I think they are using the free sex as a leader for the drug charge. I suspect if you show up with drugs it's a pretty easy case. You don't have to even be selling them, you just have them on you and that's a case.

I can understand the cops posting an ad to set up a sting and draw guys in, but the one that almost got me answered my ad. Which makes me think they really don't have any set rules on that.

Its mdma which is a little different than x. You can snort the pure mdma. LE treats that stuff worse than crack or meth, manadatory minimum sentencing in federal prison is what I hear.

I have been thinking for a long time of posting a CL / CE ad like Ren Man did. He sounds like a humble guy who definitely has game as it's working for him. I can probably write a decent ad but not sure how to deal with some of the other BS one would encounter, such as what you ran across. Someone suggested asking them to meet at a neutral location for screening purposes but I highly assume most women would not. Has anyone tried this?

LMAO. So, anyone know what type of offenses would lead to a lock-up of seven years? Excluding marriage, of course.

The list of charges that could lead to a sentence stated above: Drug offense, Armed robbery, Embezzlement, Sex / Statuatory rape of a minor, Child Molestation, Manslaughter, Extortion, Arson, Fraud, and last but not least, Tax Evasion. If there is anymore you guys can think of feel free to add on, but I have listed what I know at this time.

Well, it's a third of a twenty year stretch, of which there are many, many offenses suggested. Armed robbery (multiple counts)? Major drug offense? Not murder, probably, as that's usually 25, so first earliest parole would be 8 years.

Other than that, interesting approach for an ad! Totally not my type (at all) , but one has to admire the spirit of honesty, or at least humor.

That craigslist casual encounters is a hit and miss if you ask me. I first did it stating "looking for ladies that need a helping hand". I was immediately bombrushed with free loaders asking me how much money can I give them. Some needed money to get their friends out of jail, others were looking for sugar daddies to give them x amount of money per week. It backfired on me miserably. After that I placed 2 more ads without any hints of money and all I got were bi-sexuals, cross dressers and fat chicks. LOL. Made me feel very unwanted. LOL. I may try it again, I don't know but I don't really truss meeting females on the web. I rather meet them face to face and get a better vibes that way.

Yep, They has included a link to a verification site that I chose not to post on here. Total scam, As Zipper suggested earlier I had asked to put a special catch phrase in the reply but I doubt they read that or cared. I have these responses sent to a junk email acct that I don't care about so its little risk to try.

With escorts, the alternative is to offer to meet in public first. Is that not an option on CL CE? Not being smart ass, but this is one area where I haven't remotely explored so I am just curious.

You are right on top of something you say you have no knowledge in whatsoever. Yes these scammers will ask you to go to some web site where you will have to give a credit card number to join. Again, very stupid. Speaking of craigslist though, Ren Man, your tips have worked like gold for me as of last night. I had at least 4 different women message me last night within an hour after I put up my ad, and none were scammers. I couldn't believe it.
