Great pictures HH! I think the thing I like most about your photos is that if you do any retouching, it's discreet and minimal, which is to say I can't tell if you do or not.

I'm in a field that deals with a lot of image work and I can't think of any bigger disappointment than seeing some ham-fisted photoshopper go to town on a girl's images. (Yea, I'm talkin' 'about you, Silver Poses / C. Yohance DeLoatch) I see this guys name on a photo and I immediately laugh and say "Next!"

You, HH have skill and sensibility. Best qualities in any trade.

Just out of curiosity, is photography your primary occupation?

Photography is mostly a side job for me, the money I make from it generally pays for my "entertainment" expenses. I've never really understood why some providers choose to go with photographers who do more heavily photoshopped glamor style shots, or the ones who like to do the nude bodyscape thing. Certainly it's very artistic, but is it really a good representation of what a client will be getting? Are potential clients really interested in the whole artistic appeal of contrast between light and shadow? I'm not saying they aren't good photographers, I just don't think that style is what the clients really want to see providers use for advertising. As a client myself, I know that's not what I'm looking for when trying to pick which provider to see. I think my photos are a more accurate representation of what their clients will actually get, as opposed to some of the more artistic, or glamor, photographers out there.

Here's a little sample of the first shoot with my new lights. I think it could have been better (could have used a little more fill light) , but I had very limited space to work with. I wanted to backlight her too, but again the space limitations prevented it. Overall though, I don't think they turned out too bad. What do you guys think?

More pics of Aurora to follow. Freya had to reschedule her shoot for later on this week, but they will be coming. Still waiting on Nyx to get her pirate costume.

The supreme court has recently ruled that you should not talk to a police officer without a lawyer and you must say "i'm going to remain silent." it can be dangerous to talk to a police officer or a federal agent anytime like during a traffic stop, in a public place or at jail. Innocent people have talked to a police officer and ended up in jail and prison. Read more about your rights here.

Options:

#1. Build trust, be a "good citizen," be courteous, stay calm and don't complain. Show respect and say things like "sir, no sir." the idea is to get the cop to think that you're an average ordinary citizen and let you get on your way. Never bad-mouth a police officer, stay in control of your words, body language and your emotions. Never touch a police officer and don't run away!

#2. Never talk to a police officer. The only questions you need to answer is your name, address and date of birth. Instead of telling the police officer who you are, simply give him your drivers license or i. D. Card. The only the information the police officer needs to know about you can be found on your drivers license, so don't volunteer any more information to the police officer! If he ask you any questions say politely,"sir i'm going to remain silent" and then don't say another word.

I think she looks pretty good for just having given birth a few days ago. I'm supposed to be doing a full shoot with her tomorrow afternoon, my first with my new lights.
