I also got a email from a trusted source. Then a second one a bit later. Turns out P411 wasn't hacked, no info "stolen"according to P411. All those that belong can start breathing again.

While this was a false alarm it does raise the possibility of sites like P411 being hacked. If hackers can get into banks and govt agency computers it stands to reason P411 isn't going to be too difficult and the results could be disastrous for both provider and client.

Very timely considering recent talks here and just one more reason that my private info will remain just that, private.

Doesn't P411 destroy your info once you've been verified? That's what I thought, anyway. It's getting scary out there!

#1. Build trust, be a "good citizen," be courteous, stay calm and don't complain. Show respect and say things like "sir, no sir." The idea is to get the cop to think that you're an average ordinary citizen and let you get on your way. Never bad-mouth a police officer, stay in control of your words, body language and your emotions. Never touch a police officer and don't run away!

#2. Never Talk to a Police Officer. The only questions you need to answer is your name, address and date of birth. Instead of telling the police officer who you are, simply give him your drivers license or I. D. Card. The only the information the police officer needs to know about you can be found on your drivers license, so don't volunteer any more information to the police officer! If he ask you any questions say politely,"Sir I'm going to remain silent" and then don't say another word.

#3. "I'm Going to Remain Silent." The Supreme Court has made a new ruling, that you should Never Talk to a Police Officer" without an attorney. New Ruling Keep your mouth shut! (How can you be falsely accused and charged with something if you don't say anything?) Remember anything you say or do can and will be used against you at any time by the police. #4. Just Say NO to Police Searches! If a police officer didn't need your permission, he wouldn't be asking. Never give permission to a police officer to search you, your car or your home. If a police officer does search you, don't resist and keep saying "Sir, I don't consent to a search."

#5. "Am I Free to Go?" As soon as the police officer ask you a question ask him "Sir, Am I Free to Go?" If he says that you're are being detained or arrested, tell the police officer that "Sir, I'm going to remain silent." New Ruling

Wanted to update all. We did some digging and found out that it was just a spam e-mail. That was just confirmed by a post on P411 website. Link below:

I did want to leave up the post in case anyone out there got the e-mail and look here for info. And even though it was a hoax (this time) and seemed unlikely posting it in this day and age of who knows what IMHO was still appropriate. Breath easy at least on this everyone! SO.

Got an interesting pm today from a very trusted source of mine about P411. Now while I trust HER info (we enjoy our pillow talk) she got it from someone else who I cannot vouch for so I post not knowing if it is true or not and has at least one item in it that I question. Evidently an e-mail went out today to providers from P411 that THEY compromised some providers and clients info (not all info but some) by giving it to LE. The number 500 was mentioned. I am trying to get a copy of the e-mail so I can verify and post it here. I'm guessing our good friend NYX will be able to give us some insight.

Now there is a lot of? Here. Was it accidental and that is why P411 sent the e-mail or were they forced to cooperate which seems unlikely given their size and legal set-up. So anyway I thought I'd pass it on and see where it leads. Hopefully nowhere and it is some type of scam. SO

The email in question originated from a different email address (the domain name was wrong) as every email I've received from P411. There's a new verification site which has popped up recently and started sending out spam emails, also using the name Gina, and with a very similar format to P411 emails. I strongly suspect that this hoax may be a part of their marketing campaign by attempting to discredit the competition so that people will use their new service.

Please join us in congratulating Freya on the birth of her son. She's managed to come through it all without any noticeable stretch marks, and should have her nice flat stomach back in a month or so. She did have to have an episiotomy though, so it's going to be about two months before she's fully recovered. She is considering coming back to work sooner than that in a limited capacity though if anyone is interested. I'll be sure to let you all know when, or if, this happens.
