just for clarification. it is my understanding that the shutting down of any establishment or citation of any establishment engaged in masturbation for hire or solictation of a sex act is a violation of local ordinances. aside from blue moon (two years ago,) i don't recall either of these being mentioned as "charges" in any press release. i do recall violations in city codes as well as issues with business licenses. as such, the feds have no jurisdiction. and really, if there had been **** trafficking going on or a trail to a sex slave ring, we would still be reading news stories.

jeez, any way we can blow this out of proportion further? if anybody is wondering how. how about we start the rumor that these places were engaged in a retirement plan for illegal amp workers where they were allegedly retired but drawing social security while illegally earning income on the side. no? okay, there has got to be a medicare fraud angle we are missing. at least my rumors have the benefit of being age appropriate to the parties involved.

After reading what you said, I perhaps could be wrong about LE just doing their job when I think about it, and yes it was the Feds that shut down Blue Moon. I don't see why it couldn't have just been Gwinnett that shut it down, unless Connie was into something serious.

Many of these girls are looking at the same ads we are (example Eros, which typically has the higher end of rates listed.) They see a rate and think they are just as good and as attractive as the other girl. They don't get the girls are using fake pics and looking for a 1x hit on a scam and do not care about sticking around for repeat business. They also just don't get it that the legit, higher end ladies have a bunch of stellar reviews, offer expanded services, have a sugar daddy or high roller arrangement that lets them play selectively on the side, are living off discounts or specials, or are simply waiting around for their phone to ring too. Reminds me of the McDonald's owner looking at the 5-star restaurant menu and pricing his burgers at same level. Then ends up scratching his head as to why his drive through lane is empty.

We all need to relax here. It was very obvious that something was going on as there was one too many places for massage in that area run by asians and all. I am not happy about what happened in that area with all those places but it was very obvious and that is why all those places got shut down, and why Missy is receiving the kind of attention she is now as she is the only one who did not get shut down over there. The head of the city council said those places were using under age girls, or somebody said that, not sure. I doubt that was going on and hope it wasn't. I think we can all agree with that, and if somebody was given a massage by an under age girl that did "special treatment," hopefully they didn't know that the girl was under aged. Hell, a girl who was working in Super Scissors Salon told me that it was the Feds who went and busted Blue Moon over two years back or so. Like I said though, not happy about what happened but it was obvious. Actually can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm glad to see that LE did their job over there. At least it shows they are not completely naive.

i think the number of amps and the perception had more to do with it than anything. i also think that is a pretty astute observation you made regarding the pics and appearances in the ads. i can see that factoring into local gov thinking too. and the ads also said new young ladies all the time. but, like nl, i used to frequent that area and i never saw anyone that even remotely looked ****. in fact, my biggest complaint was that the majority looked to be older than i. fyi. i prefer the 30 and up lady, so if i say they were too old for me, brother believe me. they were old.

i too live in the area have been to all of the amps in duluth over the past three years with the exception of two. the closes to an **** therapist would have had to be tong once two years ago, and as you say the girl had to be every bit 30 years old. if it wasn't for missy having the manicure and pedicure area, she would have been already run out of business as well.

Seriously, my suggestion is to just say congrats to the lady on the rate, tell her it is outside your comfort level and move on. No need to get ugly. If she needs the business, the rate will lower, so no sense in burning bridge if you want to keep the possibility open for the future. I have noticed that often this future comes at the end of a month when rent comes due. And if she has something on the side to the extent she does not need the business, nothing anyone can say will get her to lower.
