1) There is no substitute for recon. A police van in the neighborhood is a bad sign. Often it is in place to hold girls so they can't snitch out the operation, but vans can signal monger arrests, too.

9) As discussed here often, the cop-check ritual might comfort your girl, but it is useless in protecting you. Don't count on it!
10) Finally, remember that cops will lie.

The most important thing to remember is to do recon of the area before you decide to pick up a SW. Ride around the corner from were the they are and look for vehicles with guys sitting in them.
