I won't say where or when but I had an experience that made me think of some of the questions new readers of the board sometimes ask. Often they ask for directions, explanations and other things previously covered but I also find it interesting what they don't ask.

Here's a great way to get stopped in a mongering 'hood: Drive your splashy car with the out of state tags across a couple of lanes of traffic to make a left turn into a parking lot to avoid making a real left turn to drive through the lot and up to the two very casually dressed civilians who are obviously (to seasoned mongers anyway) not working and you know, just try to talk to them. That's all but asking "Officer, woud you please come over here and politely ask me what I am doing and if I am lost?"

New guys: Don't do the above. Really. Now, nobody asked for that advice but it seems like there is at least one guy who needed it so I thought I would pass it along.
