If we all collectively start ("out of the blue") start tipping the exact same amount all over O'ahu, I'm sure the AMPs will start to catch on. I totally agree! I'm from LA, so average prices are 140 total in AMPs. For 200, you always get DDG young (early to mid 20s) girls. Prices in Hawaii are really expensive. When I monger here, I usually pay house fee and tip the girls 120. Which usually works out to around 170 total out the door. Never had any problems, but then again, I don't try out too many places (mainly just hit up Kison). I tend to stick with the Chinese MTs who are usually happy with me paying 140 total (ie: Lilly, Vicki, Sisi).

Simple economics will tell you that if the going rate is 140 in Los Angeles, the girls working in Hawaii would be OK with receiving the same amount, IF Hawaii mongers stopped simply paying 200 every time. Also, can we stop with the "standard fees" nonsense, and just say exactly what we paid? I think we all know that standard fees is 200, but see'mon, why is everyone so scared to put it out there?
