I live around the corner and pass by nearly every day. VIP has been closed for some time and I figured it was a victim of the new Duluth MP restrictions and extortionist license fees. So I was surprised to see a Grand Opening sign-maybe there is a new owner-but it has yet to actually be open.

The one or two reviews I've seen here (from a couple of years ago) weren't so hot. I've never seen any traffic in and out of this place. I'll never understand how some of these places survive.

I don't know the name of the word censor program used on this site for posts, but sometimes the results give me a chuckle. Not sure why there is such an issue with initials from the alphabet, but I don't pay the rent around here, I am just a squatter. The second letter in the alphabet spa that you are asking has been reported many times here. But nothing that I recall recently and it has been a long time since I was there. If my memory serves, I was "happy" with their service when I visited them last.

I was in atl. Today so I decieded to ck out an AMP or two. Not being an AMP person I did'nt know of a good one so I figured I'd take a chance. First stop was be spa on buford highway. A short 50ish mamasan came to the window, said 40 for a half hour, I asked about the girls and they're age and she said she did'nt know, I asked if I could see them and she said no, all she did was hold her hand out and kept saying 40 dollars. Overall poor attitude and rude tone to her voice.

Quick stop by royal spa, they said they were very busy so I declined. Anyone ever been to be spa?

B Spa is just that, an old mamasan and 1-2 providers who are nearly as old. Can't remember her name anymore, but one of them might provide a BBBJ if she trusts you. Other than that, it's a last ditch hope if you are in the area, nothing else is open and you need a HJ.

The last link in your post got my attention. Really liked that pic of her in the dress. So I gave Larisa a call. Flirted with her a little via text. She asked me to call her so I did and made appt for tomorrow. She repeated her disclaimer of no favors again over the phone. Went ahead with the appt anyway. Seems legit but you never know. Totally legit. Good massage. No assistance at all on the DIY. Then at checkout, she ran the card. Noticed it was $61 instead of the $60. I asked what the extra $1 was for, she replies "for the towel".

So I read on this forum sometime in March (?) that the owner of this place gives HE after a massage. I've been here twice back in June and she made me sign my name the first time. With everything going on in Duluth I know she was being cautious with new faces, but does anyone have any info on this place and the owner? She's def not young but something worth getting a HE from I'd say. I figure 3rd time would be a lucky charm but she went on vacation and never came back. Saw a sign the other day as I was passing by that it will be grand opening. Info about HE and reopening would be greatly apreciated!

I've never been to VIP Spa but I wouldn't hold my breath on getting anything from there. I think somebody is spilling all the beans. Some of you may remember Super Scissors Salon off Peachtree Industrial. I went there about a couple of weeks ago or so and the woman who owns that place personally told me that she got the same treatment that all those other spas got in that area as of late even though she never had anything saying that her place offered massage. She was told that she was not allowed to have massages done in there anymore unless she got her place licensed for massage. So something is up, I know it.
