Photography: getting her to pose?

Never been completely happy with my video productions. Invariably, while filming holding a camera, when you start getting into the session the aim can get off track. More than a few times I sat down to view a newly made video, only to find that I had more footage of the bed or the top of a girls head than of action. It occured to me to use a tripod, but I hesitated on that because then I would lose the ability to zoom in or move the camera for a specific angle. I figured it would be a wash becasue if we moved around then the footage would be no good.

It dawned on me the other day to use two cameras. I figured neither would have to be perfect, but combined I would likely have the entire modeling session covered. So I dusted of a 8 year old camera I had, stuck it on a tripod and then hit the streets looking for a model.

Aftewards, I viewed the footage and especially enjoyed watching the videos side by side so that she was bobbing up and down in unison with herself. Here are some screen captures.
