At first, I wanted to defend Crofton. But, he's doing just fine holding his own. I'm going to rally around his idea but would like to put a different spin on it. This argument comes up about as often as the BB argument. The supposed commonality between the two arguments is one monger doing it can affect the many on the forum. I don't believe that particular line of logic in regards to money, though, and I'll get to why. A member once told me 'You get what you pay for. ' And that's mostly true.

There are over 270, 000 members on the USAG. On our very cute little Baltimore SW thread, there are roughly 350+ daily unique visitors (this is going on picture view counts). In the past year, there have been around 4 members (including me) who have openly stated on the forum that they have paid more than standard tuition for a particular service at a given time. I know of 2 members who customarily pay more for service (and they definitively get better service). So, that's about 6 verified out of about 350 Baltimore mongers who do it occasionally. That's less than 2 percent. And that 350 'aggregate' number is just the mongers who are on this board, who knows how many mongers are actually out there. But, let's stick to 350.

From what many girls have told me, they see somewhere between 2 and 20 mongers a day to make that $1 to $4 (above $2. 2 and you're already having a VERY good day for most girls). On the low average, (and we'll use that as our control number because there's not a girl on the fucking planet who would rather be out there doing this shit for a moment longer than they must) a girl might meet around 5 mongers / day or have 35 'sessions' a week. Of those, one monger MIGHT be someone like Crofton. And of that engagement, the Crofton type person MIGHT be willing to go above standard tuition. That means, on her end, she MIGHT have a 2% chance of meeting someone who MIGHT spend some serious duckets on her. That's a lot of fucking maybes, I mean 'mights'.

We lowly cheap bastards are part of the 98 percent. This particular 98% control the market, gentlemen. The 2% couldn't possibly see enough girls enough times enough days out of the week to make a noticeable dent in the entirety of the market culture. If each of those 6 guys saw a working girl from each fucking loop everyday paying $1. ++ for the next month, you would have an argument. Firstly, take me out of that equation because I ain't doing it. Secondly, they would all be broke as shit. But because of the forum's 'standard', we've had an absolute lock on the market for WELL OVER A FUCKING DECADE. There is no argument against that, gentleman. Not a fucking one. It is a monger controlled market. We ARE the market. To say otherwise is to cling to a poor logic slippery slope argument. We have verifiably kept the prices the same for 12 YEARS. You're worried about Crofton? Really?

Let's go for a different angled argument. And it will seemingly defend Chrissy here (and it should, really). Do you think that someone like Kiara is going to take $.2 from you (this is a general forum 'you') to do the same beautiful stuff she does to me for what I pay her? You're out of your tiny little head if you think that. And she LIKES me.

For people who don't know how to negotiate at all, when you meet a SW for the first time, do not open with, 'Hey what's on the menu? ' or 'How much do you charge for _____? ' You immediately give away your opening bargaining position to them, and for what. For nothing. You gave them control of the conversation for zero gain. If I meet someone new, I say this, 'What will a $.2 spot get me? ' When I receive the answer, I move negotiations from that starting point. If their response is, 'I usually get ___ for ____' and it's too high, then I offer them to leave my car. And I stay within my budget just fine. I drive by girls that have too high of a monetary expectation and they know it. If I pick them up anyway, I tell them immediately what my concerns are. If they push the issue and get snotty and say something like, 'Why can't you go to an ATM? ' I counter with, 'Why the fuck can't you? '

Draw the line and stand by it, gentlemen. If you can't do that, well, I don't know what to say to you. I will tell you that it isn't Crofton's fault.

Punished, MsExsw is not here for the same reason as us. Read her posts. Some of us have seen her in a biblical sense. Neither Doe nor BK were being nice at all. I'm surprised some of the Super Seniors haven't buried them yet for that faux pas. There was no attempt to mitigate bad feelings regarding shitty providers or attempt to see her reasoning. They just went after her as a person. Guranteed, neither has ever dated her. They should reserve that vitriole to thieving/lying SWs that they know who deserve it. She has EVERY reason to be upset. Though normally good posters, DoeSurfer and BKMason's posts were very uncool. There's a reason there's a filter on the forum for calling women derogatory names. Ok, so two evenings this week, I have seen a cutie in a blue sundress standing around the Citgo. The first night I was just passing thru the area and did not have time for any fun. I then circle back around towards the Citgo and I see her running down that way towards some cop cars that are on the side of Dundalk Avenue and while I could not hear what she said, she yelled something at one of the cops. Very very suspicious now. I made a loop around so that I could drive by and see what the cops were up to and one of them had a flashlight out looking on the ground. I am making an educated guess that they attempted to stop and haress someone in the area and they suspected that the person may have ditched some drugs at the sight of the police. They promptly left the area though and I am not sure what happened to the girl in the blue sundress. She was out of sight at that point. I could be wrong, maybe she is just a crazy SW who likes to run towards cops, but my senses are telling me that she may be LE. She is a cutie though, so if any of you fellow mongers know who I am talking about and were brave enough to have thought more with the other head and actually scooped her up, let me know about it.

That is sad, I just talked to Raven and was moving out of the guys house that was beating her ass every other day. Hang on a sec, Doe. Your reply to Ms Exsw was over the top and ungentlemanly. To address her as "wh_ore", even though you cleverly put the space inbetween the "h" and the "o" in order to get around the banned words filter, is out of line. Let's just stick to the "SW" designation and avoid the pejorative terms.

Her reply to the previous poster was not unreasonable; Ms Exsw was simply providing her own, equally valid perspective. It's true that many, if not most, SWs are on the streets because of a drug addiction, but there are other reasons, as well. We don't know their personal stories, and one of the reasons mongers hire them for short-term companionship is because the monger does not want to know their history.

At one point, many of these SWs were probably once "average civi" girls. Whatever they are in your eyes now, they are almost certainly down on their luck, and they are out there because they often do not perceive any other option for surviving in a hard world. On the unforgiving mean streets, one's first instinct is to survive. THAT'S why she accepted the "standard rate" of. 2 or. 4 from you or many other mongers. It wasn't because she knew that's all she was worth; it was more likely because she concluded that it was all she was able to get in the current market. It's much the same with any other form of employment. For instance, when you are looking for a new job, you might have a desired salary. But, if current market conditions are unfavorable, you'll likely settle for a lower salary. It's the way of the free market system. On the other hand, if your skills are in greater demand, then you will be able to obtain a higher salary. And, if someone if desparate for your skills, they might not even bother negotiating but simply offer a higher-than-market salary in order to obtain your services immediately.

Now, what we have on this forum is a means for sharing information about the available talent in the "street marketplace." We can post on whom to avoid, whether because of poor service or unreliable behavior. Likewise, we can share information on whom to seek out because of superior service. (Think baseball for a moment: There is a reason why clubs compete with and try to outbid each other for the services of players like Alex "A-Rod" Rodriguez, yet will not even make an opening offer on other players.) So, is it unreasonable for a SW who provides superior service to receive MORE than the "standard rate"? I think not, and I've never had a problem with that approach. Does that mean that all SWs should receive the rate that the "superstars" receive? Of course not. In fact, if word were to get around among SWs that mongers were willing to pay better to those whose service was better, you'd probably see some corresponding increase in quality. After all, who really wants to be known as the low-rank player? We can still weed out the under-performers and the outright ROBs, without doing wrong to the solidly reliable girls.

Ours is a hobby of negotiation, a process of give-and-take, and if someone has a reputation (like A-Rod) for superior service, then it's not unreasonable for the compensation to reflect that. But, just because a SW accepts your offer of. 2, don't for a minute think that she does it because it's all she feels she is worth. She accepts it because she first has to survive, and then because she may know what prices the current market will and will not support. Regardless, if we try to see things from a broader perspective, instead of taking a narrow parochial view, we're likely to have a better overall experience because we'll all be negotiating with better insight.

I really appreciate what you said. And what you did say makes so much sense, but to a few mongers they did a majority of there thinking with there small head. You are correct that most of us girl's out there were at one time a respectable member of society but some how ended up in this "dog eat dog" world of drugs. So when I am called a whor3 or whatever else a man will come up with it dose in away hurt my feelings because I know that I am not a whor3 & I actually have alot to offer.
